Time passes but I remain still. Numbness in my brain, reaches my heart. I am silent. There is no one listening.  They hear what they want. Even in my stare they make assumptions. They do not see me. I am zero.  No matter how hard I try- I will never be WHOLE. I put my value in a cup that can not be filled #mentalhealth #selfloce #selfworth #selfesteem #recovery #wellness #mentalwellness #mentalillnessawareness 📸 - @_sxzia

March 13, 2023 - I shared the beginnings of this poem, with a dear friend. A friend/writer, who not only inspires but motivates and encourages. Over two years later, this poem has progressed and transformed. I am so excited to share this very vulnerable piece bearing my heart. ❤️ photo shot on film by @_sxzia #grief #heartbreak #depression #recovery #poetry #loss #heartache #mentalillnessisreal #mentalillnessawareness

There are times when I avoid the mirror like it’s the plague, knowing it only does harm to me. speaking with insults & critiquing my every look. it’s the worst kind of hate - Self judgment breeds self loathing that I can not take. #poetry #selflove #wellness #recovery #mentalhealth 📸 @_sxzia
