POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

935 attacks on healthcare facilities and personnel.

0 functioning hospitals in Rafah.

498 healthcare workers killed.

310 medical specialists arrested.

Medical complexes turned into mass graves.

Where is the humanity? Why aren’t human rights applied to Palestinians?

On June 22, 2024, 5 Canadian cities took part in a National Die In Event for Gaza. 935 seconds of silence for the 935 merciless attacks. Healthcare workers engaged in a powerful demonstration in a desperate attempt to highlight the terrifying reality Palestinian medical staff are facing in G*za.

Our demands are simple: stop the deliberate targeting of HCWs, end the seige on G*za, reopen border crossings to allow for humanitarian aid to enter the G*za Strip, and allow for HCWs everywhere to freely advocate for Palestinian rights.

Toronto, 06.22.2024:

Canadians for Palestine hosts the National Die In Event for Gaza where doctors and HCWs lay down in a symbolic act of solidarity to garner attention to the deliberate attacks on HCWs in Gaza and the catastrophic state of the healthcare system.

Doctors, HCWs, and healthcare facilities are all protected under international law during times of war, however, we have been witnessing the merciless slaughter of our dear Palestinian HCWs and complete destruction of healthcare infrastructure in G*za amidst this ongoing genocide.

👉Our demands are clear:

1)An end to the deliberate targeting of healthcare workers, patients and medical infrastructure.

2)An end to the siege on Gaza and the occupation of Palestine.

3)Reopen all border crossings immediately, allowing for unimpeded flow of life sustaining humanitarian aid and medical personnel in and out of Gaza.

4)The upholding of the rights of healthcare workers everywhere to freely advocate for Palestinian health and human rights without fear of censure.

☘️📢 Toronto - Join us this Sunday as we march in solidarity with Palestine 📢☘️

Irish history is a beacon of resilience, which unites us with the Palestinian cause. Our presence will be a testament to the unbreakable spirit of those who understand the weight of struggle and the strength found in unity.

Whether born and raised in Ireland or a member of the Irish diaspora, let’s raise our voices and flags high. Your presence is not just support; it’s a powerful reminder of our shared path to freedom.

Let’s show the world that when one of us battles for justice, we all do. Níl saoirse go saoirse na Palestíne - There is no freedom until the freedom of Palestine 💚
