A post! It's been years. But this trip was so amazing that I have the power to do it. I loved every minute of this beach backpacking trip, and I love my friends who came along for the adventure!

Last Wednesday, I was lucky enough to be a part of Kelsi Umeko's, family inspired story. It was beautifully painted and constructed by Chris Koser and his team, along side many talented Hair and Makeup, props, set design, and more (see below).

Some of my favorite frames from ‘Horse Fly’.

Directed by @relaxkap
Starring @labellacarbone
Produced by @seeyakatie & @bradburnttoast

I shot this on the ARRI Alexa LF + V35 Arles

A huge hugee thank you to @wondercamp.co for providing us with the equipment we needed to film this project🙏🏼. Ya’ll rock, and we could not have done this without you.

A giant shout out to @domenic_barbero & @galenandrus at Northwest Camera Co here in seattle for hooking us up with some beautiful V35 tuned glass. Cannot recommend them enough.

I’ve also got to thank @megocine & @koerner_camera for always showing support through advice, trustworthy equipment, and helping us through any technical issues we have on set.

I’m very proud of the team that made this film come to life❤️

Been a crazy couple of weeks working multiple gigs. One 24-hour day between two projects and definitely not enough sleep. But I’m building something, and I’m doing everything in my power to get better every day.

I just feel blessed that I get to work with my love @chloes.ciara and that we get to do what we love. Through all of this, we’ve met some amazing people and made some amazing art.

Thank you to everyone who has ever trusted me and taught me. And a huge thank you to @chloes.ciara for pushing me into G&E. Without her, I wouldn’t be where I’m at today.

I love you, babe. You’re the best.

On to the next one. See you on set.

Some really rough shoots can be turned into fond memories, when you are with the right crew!

Flashback to last summer on the set of Autumn Daze. Get ready for a totally absurd ride packed with over-the-top action and hilarious moments. Massive shoutout to the crew, you're the best! #seattlefilmmakers #shortfilms

I took my adventurous buddies out to my FAVORITE hiking trail in the NW. Favorite because not only is there a roaring river beneath you, it's rife with abandoned railroad tracks and actual obstacles of fantastical beauty. So much fun. This was an amazing outing and so beautiful in the fall.

The past couple months have been some of the hardest, but also the most fulfilling of my life. ✨
I’ve worked with longtime creatives 🎥 and built new bonds with teams who’ve truly become my creative family 🤝.

Losing my mentor this year was one of the toughest things I’ve ever faced 💔. But I’ve learned that when one door closes 🚪, others open 🔑 it’s up to us to keep walking through for the ones who can’t anymore 🙏.

From features 🎬 to shorts 🎞️, commercials 📺 to gaffing for the History Channel 📡, I’ve been blessed to create on some incredible projects and connect with amazing artists 🎭. My heart is full ❤️. The journey isn’t perfect, but like I always say: keep turning those pages 📖 your story isn’t over.

Grateful to all my friends who have trusted me 🙌 and to the new ones who’ve given me a chance 🌟. @chloes.ciara and I have loved every moment 💕. Let’s keep building. Let’s work. 💪
