I don’t know what it is about this island, but it’s producing some really good skateboarders. This is just a glimpse, so follow their pages and stay tapped in to their scene.

Also, shoutout to @shapeskatefoundation & @theskatenomad_ who supported the community with gear and skateboarding opportunities recently.

Jo is not just a flatground master. He can gap down stairs with crazy hang time that feels like he is floating. Pure stair set magic 🤩

Jo brings quiet magic to flatground. Every move feels natural, like the board listens to him. His simple flips turn into smooth art, almost like he is painting on the street.

Gasy Teknika is all fun. We move with purpose and get there however the streets let us. On our wheels, your wheels, or by skitching when the ride calls for it.

Are you ready for the next Volume of Gasy Teknika?

Skateboarding is fun because you never fully know what your board will do. Some days the simple things feel hard and the hard things suddenly click, but focusing on what you can control and enjoying the ride is what matters. That’s the lesson we learn every day with Gasy Teknika.

Ever seen a whole crew holding on to a car and to each other while riding their boards? That is exactly what is happening in this clip, and it captures the Gasy Teknika spirit in the most powerful way. Seven guys boosting toward one destination, showing that together we can always go further than going alone. No one stands above the rest, everyone matters, and when one breaks the whole line feels it. The cameraman almost got left behind because he was not holding on to anyone, which makes the point even clearer. This is unity in motion, a reminder of what we believe in, and a lesson we carry and share as we move forward.

A skater is someone who lives in that space between athlete and artist. Sometimes both at once, sometimes leaning more to one side than the other. But there’s a rare category of skaters who feel more like magicians, bending physics and rhythm to their will. @_t.jonathan is one of them. Check out his #LateVarialFlip and watch how he makes the board flip under him as if by sleight of hand, turning a split-second motion into something that feels impossible.

Here is a shot of the team after a wild night of skating through the streets of Antananarivo. The crew was on fire, landing tricks, laughing loud, and owning every corner of the city. Now it is time to cool down with some good old street breakfast and let the legs rest after all that heat.
