When I got a message from @mapsmokete saying they’d like to feature me in the 7th issue of @lewatlemagazine , my first thought was, “Woah… is this the right time?”

I was honestly anxious about it. But as I started unpacking my journey during the interview, I found myself reflecting a lot and really having to acknowledge just how far I’ve come.

Grateful to @mapsmokete and the Lewatle team for giving me the space to tell my story and celebrate this chapter. 🤍

Thank you to @onelajoni @ojdesigns_by_onelajoni for making me look so good 🔥

I don’t know what the hell June was?
But atleast I was crying in places I wanted to be in. The conversations I had this month were beyond me. I’m still trying to understand if this is twenty we really have to like go on? I was telling one of my teachers that I feel so old (so much so I keep seeing myself as an old lady) she said that’s the burden of knowledge. To learn is to unlearn right?
“Ignorance is bliss and innocence is just ignorance before it’s introduced to currency and clips.”
