They wanna know <33 | I dreamt and worked hard as hell for this, so to quote @jennifermotaval, “journalism will never die” and, I’ll add, we ain’t going anywhere. With that, here’s a month in the life as a journalist, author, and digital media director. Pa’ que sepan 💞

Six months in — how are you doing, really? 🖤 This is your reminder to pause, give yourself credit for everything you’ve built, shifted, and figured out this year, and then lock in for the second half. Our June newsletter is out now and it’s packed with everything you need to realign, refocus, and finish 2025 stronger than you started. Drop a 🙋🏽‍♀️ if you’re ready to go!

Part Two is here ✨🖤

To close out my Black History Month series spotlighting Black-owned businesses, we’re diving deeper into the events side of the @blacklatinamovement vision. Part One was about the journey, this one is about the experience.

From curated gatherings to powerful community moments, @crystalshaniece explains this next chapter and how it highlights how the business continues to create spaces where art, culture, and connection merge. Representation in theater and film isn’t just about what you see on stage or screen it’s also about the rooms we build, the stories we celebrate, and the people we bring together.
@_talksandtequila_ @blacklatinasummit

There’s so much more on the way! Upcoming events, new opportunities to engage, and intentional spaces designed to uplift and inspire. I’m so proud to not only witness it, but to have been part of the movement since 2015.

Stay tuned. Pull up. Support. Show up. 🖤🎭✨

The movement continues 🤎
