One last hurrah in Montana to celebrate my favorite doctors!! 🤍 Over the last few years I’ve had the pleasure of watching this group grow into incredibly talented and caring occupational therapists. I’m so proud of y’all. Now let’s start planning a reunion trip in Portland!

Oh Montana, I’ll miss you so much. I’ll miss the beautiful big sky and stunning landscapes but that all pales in comparison to these incredible people. I’ve genuinely never met a kinder group of people in my life. I’ll miss summer night softball games, puppy playdates, rodeos, and drinks at Daisy Dukes.

Truthfully I didn’t want to move here. I was happy in Portland and felt like I’d finally gotten settled. But love pulled me out here. My future mother-in-law told me I’d be sad to leave when the time came and I didn’t really believe her. But here I am, holding back tears, thinking about how special this experience has been.

Montana and these people will always have such a special place in my heart. Until next time. 💕

🚨 Huge congrats to former athlete, turned Blackshirts, then intern, then coach and now getting her official white coat for Occupational Therapy!
.
.
@_taylorpeterson was our first intern when BR started five years ago. We told her we had a crazy dream and idea to help a bunch of people but no official location yet and she said sign me up anyways and we will figure it out.
.
.
She quickly became an integral part in building our culture. Most of the chalk artwork in the old building was hers. She’s the reason we have a recycling bin because she yelled at me for not having one.
.
.
She donated so much free time to help and always went above and beyond! Had the pleasure of interviewing her yesterday to educate my Intro to Kinesiology students at Eureka and it’s just so awesome seeing former athletes and coaches out into the world doing huge things!
.
.
I think what I appreciated about her most was how real she was. She was 110% a team player but would call me out whenever I was in my head or needed a push. I still have a hand written note from her hanging above my desk saying “stop allowing mediocrity” that has saved me a ton of time and energy and helped maintain the culture we have today!
