Massive congratulations to Alby @treatrightnz !!! So happy for you and so deserved to take the cake plate!! 🎂
We were the first to meet at the airport and I was thinking who’s this kid that’s come straight out of high school 😂 I feel so privileged to have spent the weeks we did baking and living together. Love our share of flavours and food! You truly are very special to me, and a role model to my boys 🥰

As we are all done with the show, a big well done to all of the contestants, it was a rather crazy experience 🤪 but I’m so glad to have met you all.

@courtnaycooks and @jasminleighcakes you did amazing in the final so proud of you and hats off to you both! Also photo of all 10 of us reunited at the finale!

Miss this bunch so much 🧡🎂💯
It’s finale week on The Great Kiwi Bake Off, so we thought we’d stick our beautiful faces together and share a vid of us making the famous promo chocolate cake!
Massive effort from @hamruss who organised and edited this number.
Living and baking with this incredible bunch was undoubtedly the best part of this experience. Make sure you give them a follow 😄

Wee article in the local paper talking about my experience on bake off. I was happy to eliminated but was shown crying because they asked about my boys. No matter how I did I was proud of myself for entering in the first place! Also talked about being a mum in the bake off house -

“Clearly a dedicated mum — making sure her boys have fresh baking in the lunchboxes regularly — she was also dubbed the ‘‘mum’’ of the show.

‘‘I didn’t know if they were annoyed with me or not … so we’re in this house and then like Teniqua would sneak off and I’d notice and I’d text her ‘Where are you? Can you text me when you come home, please?’,’’ Banks laughs.

‘‘Same with Courtney … she would head out to the supermarket because we didn’t finish up ‘till really late, you know, it’s in Muriwai so we were staying in — sort of in a windy, rural road.

‘‘I just wanted to make sure they got home, I know they’re all adults, but I just had to make sure.’’

Lastly talking about where I want to take my baking - baking for a cause ❤️

I do miss my bake off kids @treatrightnz @quirkybites @courtnaycooks and @_teniqua hope that you’re all behaving now that you’re all out of my sight! 😂

Thank you @cass.marrett for hanging out with me to do this piece! ❤️
