THIS WAS US…
2 years ago 11 strangers, from 7 countries, all flew to an island in the middle of the ocean to start a journey non of us knew what would bring.

When I look at that first picture I see a group of people who each gave God their Yes, not knowing the future, but so expectant, hopeful, possibly ready, definitely nervous and so excited for the journey ahead!

Six months later and you’ll see that we accomplished a thing and got the paper to prove it! That paper doesn’t symbolize the end of a journey, but just the opposite. It’s the start of living life charged and with a new lense! Change that toke place inside each of us, that I believe, you can see that difference through a photo!

I think I can speak for all of us in the group when I say we had NO idea how this group of WILDLY different people coming from different countries, homes, histories and ages could have been chosen to not only spend time KNOWING God but Making him KNOWN.

What an honour that God chose us to represent him. It’s amazing what having Jesus in common and at the center of it all changes how you see people that are different from you. The world would look at us as a group and say “How is it possible you travel, eat, sleep, breathe, and serve 24/7 together and all get along?”Only one answer to that not by our own strength but through JESUS!

God knew what he was doing by hand picking us to represent HIM to each other and by doing that showed the world too!
I will forever be grateful for this small, loud, dedicated, crazy, talented, unique, giving, prayerful group of strangers who I can now call family.

Now two years later and MANY, MANY miles between us I have come to realize how rare our bond truly was and is. As we continue to walk alongside each other in life. And always have each other backs when it matters most! In my most lonely times over the years, I thank God that I have people in my life I can miss. For that I will always be grateful and won’t ever take our special friendship for granted!

HAPPY 2 YEARS YALL
