Sometimes I look around and think…

How lucky am I that this all started with lashes?

A skill I learnt as a teenager ended up becoming the foundation for everything I have today.

The businesses.
The students.
The opportunities.
The freedom.
The physical things I have.
The constant rewarding feeling.

And whilst the beauty industry definitely isn’t always easy, I think it’s one of the most underestimated industries out there.

Because for the right person, learning a skill can be the beginning of something so much bigger than they ever expected.

I know it was for me. ✨

If you’ve been sitting on the idea of starting, waiting until the timing feels perfect or until you feel ready enough…

This is your reminder that most people who build something incredible started before they felt ready too.

You never know where one decision, one skill or one opportunity might take you.

And trust me, future you will be so grateful you started 🤍

2-3 week retention across different clients, lash styles and appointments using the Soul Tied Adhesive.

And before anyone says “they could’ve lasted longer” …. absolutely 🤍

Many of these sets would have comfortably lasted beyond the timeframe shown, however regular maintenance is essential to keep the set looking its best and to support the health of the natural lashes.

Low fumes, reliable performance and retention that keeps both artists and clients happy.

Retention is always a team effort 👩🏼‍🐰‍👩🏽

We invest in quality products, techniques and application to give your lashes the best possible foundation. The rest comes down to how well they’re cared for at home.

How much my Beauty Businesses have given me at just 19 years old 💅🏼

Sometimes I genuinely have to stop and remind myself that I have all of this just from one decision I made at 16 years old.

This industry has given me SOOOO much more than just a job. It’s given me freedom, independence, confidence, creativity, opportunities, and experiences I could only dream of having at my age.

Of course there’s been hard moments too. Being your own boss comes with pressure, risks, and seasons where you question yourself. But no matter what, I always come back to how much I genuinely love what I do.

I think people underestimate how life changing this industry can be when you approach it properly. Not just learning a skill… but learning how to build a successful business around it.

I’m nowhere near done building, I have ALOT MORE planned in my vision for The Lash Edit and The Lash Institution 🤍

If you’ve been thinking about starting your own beauty business, this is your sign 🎉👩🏼‍🎓

DITL (day off edition ✨)

I am so grateful I’m able to work my personal life around work so easily…
this is exactly why I started 🙋🏼‍♀️

Being able to slow mornings down, run errands reset and organise when I need to — but still have a business that runs and grows… that’s the goal ☺️

It’s not just about lashes, it’s about the lifestyle it gives you.
Your time, your schedule, your income… all in your control 🫵🏼

If you’ve been thinking about starting, take this as your sign ✨✨

1 Day Refresher Course this week with past student @lumilashesbysoph ✨

There’s something extra special when artists choose to come back for a refresher. It shows they’re serious about refining their skills and continuing to grow in the industry. I’m always honoured when artists trust me to help refine their work or welcome them back to Lashing 🤍

In Sophie’s case, she truly wants to invest into her business and be the best she can be - so any tips, tricks and ways we could refine her technique since her training… we did ✨

When Sophie first trained, she wanted to keep her clients to friends and family while she built more experience in both her lashing and the business side of things which many new Artists do!

This time when she came back in, the difference in her was huge. She told me she’s now started taking clients outside of her friends and family… people she doesn’t even know!

What made me even more excited was hearing about what she has planned for her business. When she first trained, the goal was just to keep it as a side hustle while she finished school buttt now she’s talking about taking it to the next level!! I was getting so excited hearing her plans that I started adding to them too 🤭😭

Seeing my students continue to grow, refine their skills and step further into their potential will always be one of the most rewarding parts of being an educator and why I want to continue teaching Lash Artists how to set them selves up and create successful businesses 🫶🏼👩🏼‍🎓
