Why do life alone when there's at least one in 8 billion people God has assigned to do life with you.🤍 You are not designed to do life alone.

LASU Prepares to Celebrate Another Generation of Excellence, Calls for Media Volunteers

Excitement builds across Lagos State University as the institution prepares for its 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremonies. Scheduled to hold from Wednesday, August 12 to Sunday, August 23, 2026, the ceremonies will celebrate the achievements of graduands from the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions across various categories.

As preparations gather momentum, the University has also called for passionate and creative volunteers to join its media team in documenting and showcasing the convocation activities. The initiative offers students and creatives an opportunity to contribute to the coverage of one of the institution's most significant annual events.

The convocation will mark another milestone in LASU's commitment to academic excellence as it honours a new generation of graduates, further advancing the University's vision of becoming the best university in West Africa.

The 2025/2026 academic session will also mark the end of the single five-year tenure of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, under whose leadership the University has recorded significant achievements and strengthened its reputation for excellence.
