Happy 19th birthday son. I could spend the day writing but words will never justify how proud I am of you. You’ve become an amazing young man and life is just beginning. I love you so much and don’t ever forget… “Whatever it takes” #12

Building athletes from the ground up. 🏃🏾‍♂️💨

Resisted lateral skips ➡️ Front squats ➡️ Push press ➡️ Lateral agility ➡️ Agility wickets.

Training motor unit recruitment, force production, rate of force development, coordination, and change of direction.

Strength is only part of the equation—the goal is to produce force and apply it FAST.

Building stronger, faster, more explosive athletes. ⚡️

Resisted lateral skips → developing lateral force production, hip stability, and coordination.

Front squats → building lower-body strength, trunk stability, and high-threshold motor unit recruitment.

Push press → training explosive force production and transferring power through the entire body.

Lateral agility work → developing braking, reacceleration, body control, and efficient change of direction.

Agility wickets → reinforcing rhythm, posture, foot placement, and quick ground contacts.

The goal isn’t just to get stronger—it’s to teach athletes to recruit force, control it, and apply it quickly in multiple directions. 💨💪🏾#pdxtrainer

Slow feet don’t eat

Footwork isn’t about dancing through a ladder it’s about building an athlete from the ground up.

Every cut, hop, shuffle, and bound teaches the body to absorb force, redirect momentum, and explode into the next movement. Great agility training develops ankle stiffness, tendon resilience, coordination, balance, and the ability to move efficiently in every direction.

The goal isn’t just faster feet. The goal is a faster, more resilient athlete.

Train the tissues. Train the nervous system. Train every angle.

Speed is produced. Agility is earned.
