New selected field recording volume is online!!! I had the absolute pleasure of doing the production sound mixing for the documentary "The Dream" @thedream_documentary. This collection is a few of the wild tracks I recorded and gave raw to the sound post production. This library was made with the idea to give a complete soundscape of Albania that the movie needed sonically. And to the beautiful team Tara Dina Thomas Jelani Mats binck thank you. I had the best time with you <3

Kloof - Kamiel More than a year ago we went to Czech Republic to make the short film "Kloof" Directed by @ivozeman_ . Being out there in the woods filming everyday for a week, with my best friend @merijn.vdbos playing my big brother is still one of my most memorable, inspiring and motivational experiences as an actor. I'm truly grateful for.💪❤️

‘𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵’ – 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 The idea that “alpha males don’t show emotion”, a concept entirely taken out of context from scientific research, seems to be gaining traction again (!) today. But anyone who thinks alpha chimpanzees, our closest relatives (alongside bonobos), rule purely through brute force instead of emotion and connection is mistaken. It. Is. Not. The. Whole. Story. Evolutionary science and nature actually tell us the exact opposite is needed for sustainable leadership. In my graduation documentary, Ape to Ape (Aap tot Aap), I dive deeper into this topic: How can I be a great leader when all of my emotions are exposed right on my face? I am thrilled to announce that Ape to Ape is selected for the official program at @rotterdams_open_doek Film Festival on June 19th! If you’re curious to see the full story, make sure to be there!🎥 Ticket link in bio. Many thanks again to the whole Ape to Ape crew! Best, Meike❣️
