Northern California leg of tour has come to an end, marking the halfway point of this run. Thank you, Levi, for spearheading these Bay Area shows and for your beautiful art. Thanks you , Hall, for your mondo hospitality and for YOUR beautiful art. Thanks to Steve for sitting in with us on short notice and killing it! All y’all are an inspiring and talented crew and it was an honor to spend time with you all!

A couple days off, then @blindfaucett and I are back at it at Rabbit Box in Seattle on 8/14.

Summer is in full swing and my multi-project regional run with @blindfaucett starts TONIGHT at @bottomofthehillsf as @thunderboys celebrate a new dawn. We continue tomorrow in Nevada City at @starduststation where I will be playing with @maiden.mare, and we bring it back home Friday at the clubhouse @littlehilllounge for a full band reunion that continues into Saturday out by big blue at @nocrapontap in Pacifica. We round it all out with one more big family get down at @oldwesternsaloon again with Maiden Mare and this time with our dear brother @andres_miguel_cervantes delivering the headlining Sunday service. Faucett is possibly my favorite songwriter of our time and he’s not often rocking with a full band out here. I recommend catching as many of these shows as you can. See you out there ✌️

~Season Of Treason E.P. Release~
..................
"thrown into the air
feast on my despair
heaven knows where souls go beyond the sky

i want to listen to your heart speak
like madrigals against the wheat
pray like a pigeon at your feet

i want to lay down in fields of green
bathe my tears in flowers unclean
let all the birds come and cover me"
...................

Over the past couple years i have been humbled to be the constant gardener, the unhinged steward, the faithful servant to this vessel of song, togetherness, and destruction. Song is nature in life, if you grow with a song, you can forget which came first.

I feel deeply, if not painfully, close to this album, this artifact, and to all of the extremely important people that included their heart, soul and talents, to bring Season Of Treason to realization.

~ Season Of Treason E.P - Thunder Boys ~

1. Life Of Birds
2. Soft With Sorrow
3. Widows Walk Of Clover
4. Season Of Treason
5. Prayer For The Living

Tyson Vogel: Vox, Guitar, Mandolin, Drums/Percussion
Brando "Chet" Chester : Guitar, Lap Steel
Shane Kenneth Plitt: Bass
Justin Flowers: Drums
Zane Groshelle: Synths, Organs

Recorded by @newenhousedonny at @elstudiosf
Mixed by Karl Derfler and Tyson Vogel in Crockett CA.
Mastered by @doctormidrange at Clearlight Mastering.
