Day 26…

It’s been a rough couple of days, and I missed yesterday
But here’s to getting back on the horse

I especially love that figma motion exists now so I’m posting it again.

Day 24…

Figma motion dropped and guess who stayed up trying it out!
Exciting times to be a creative, you’re only limited by imagination and willpower!

Day 22…

One important thing I always prioritize is exercising (touching grass, but in this case iron)

With the amount of time I spend stationary and in front of screens I absolutely must go to the gym regularly and I also take walks to get those steps in as well.

Day 21…

I wish I could do a weekend like other people but I don’t have the time, so for now my Mondays are for my weekly reset.

Here’s to starting the week off on a great and productive note!

Day 20…

Had one of the longest days today.
One of my favorite ways to relax is to look at old designs and how well and far I’ve grown.

Day Eighteen…

As a Nigerian I’ve been forced to have adapting as my second nature.

Through the power outages and bad network, you always have to find a way to get things done, find a way to push forward.

Here’s to being resilient and finding creative solutions to problems.

Day Seventeen…

Some days you scroll endlessly and you’re still drawing blanks, nothing stands out to you, nothing feels like inspiration.

Step away from your screen, pick up a book go on a walk, head to the gym.

Then come back and face the issue refreshed.

Day Sixteen…

In my very little time collaborating and leading a team of designers, one of the hardest things to do is to manage expectations and opinions, every one wants to feel like their contributions matter and they’re competent.

While that is good I’ve found that it’s very often details from the goal.

What do I mean? In a bid to show design prowess often in an environment that is fast paced and changes a lot. If you’re not super intentional about the companies goals and best your design can fit in your often push out products or designs that you enjoy or are very attached to.

It’s also where good leadership comes in, give proper direction, validate their input but course correct to fit and match product/company goals at the moment.

I’m still learning quite a lot, and it has been quite the journey still.

Day Fifteen…

Today has been one of those days, I actually would’ve argued a lot if I was ever told I’d be in this situation
The back and forth with vendors having to do things yourself because no one can seem to get it right no matter how simple.

Anyhoo, here’s to exploring more niches in design.
