5. Church 5050 - Swank 4

This rail was always talked about as a mythical beast in Malden. Everyone eyed and made claims. While filming for Swank 4 I felt the skaters from my generation/area had dispersed. I was doing it for everyone that wanted to see it. I used a piece of wood that happened to fit on the first set so I had some speed to ride in at it. There was a service at the church so I had to rush it and get out of there.

4. Bs 50 Fs 180 - Tough Toys for Tough Boys

Ever since I’d saw footage of this electrical box I wanted to do this. Shout out @xbroderickx bs blunt in ‘out of body experience.’ This was in the back of my mind as years passed. Went out w/ Tin Tran & Rob Ridge one weekend. Warmed up at tootsie roll ledge then here. Gnarly spot. Rumble strip where you pop, you’re high up and have to clear the pole. Had trouble turning out, but got psyched up enough to make it happen. They changed the box for a taller one not long after. @_tinstagram_ 🎥

3. Kickflip up Nollie Inward down - ‘Suede Peach’

I was going between my Allston apartment and Nashua NH, burnt out from previous videos and city life. This was the first clip after an unproductive 2 month stretch. Was so relieved to make it happen knowing there was a deadline for the video looming. @_tinstagram_ 🎥

2. Nollie Bs Heel Melrose 9 - Swank 3

I had this trick pretty good because of Rye Airfield. Knew I wanted it here. Melrose HS was my favorite spot for a while. So many set variations. We would session this 9 all the time. I got it quickly just from knowing the motion so repetitively. Even with little ride away this still felt amazing.

1. Ollie - Swank 2

I was 18 during Swank 2. This gap is in Revere. Bunch of my friends brought me because I would jump down anything at the time. Think it was 5th try. I kicked it out a couple times and bruised my heel. Told myself one more try. As I got over the rail, my brain said ‘float,’ held myself together, brought it to the ground, and hill bombed. Such a good feeling. Nobody’s stepped to it since.
