Louisville came ready for battle today, but Wake Forest had other plans. The Cardinals fought until the final whistle but came up just short, falling 30-27 in a hard-fought ACC matchup.

Card Nation, Saturday at 3:30 PM… L&N Stadium is the one and only you place you should be.. because this the biggest game Louisville has played in quite some time!!

SMU is a proven top 20 team with tremendous talent everywhere on the field, and the Cards are 0-2 in the last 2 years against them. 😬

Winning this one would maybe break a “soon to be” tie-breaker down the road to get us into the ACC Championship.

POSITION PREVIEW 3: Wide Receivers

One of the most intriguing positions on Louisville’s roster. Has some nice experience with Tre Richardson, LaWayne McCoy, and TreyShun Hurry. Also some potential breakout candidates in Jackson Voth and TJ McWilliams!

Projected SL-WR1: Tre Richardson

Proven WR1 coming in. Put up 806 yards and 7 TDs on 46 catches (17.5 YPC) last season at Vanderbilt. Big-play ability + vertical threat written all over him.

Projected SL-WR2: Jackson Voth

Slot-type weapon with solid size who’s climbing the depth chart—expected to be part of the main rotation in a deep room heading into the season.

Projected Z-WR1: Lawayne McCoy

Another breakout candidate 👀—has been turning heads in practice with route running and separation, and looks like a potential go-to target this year. Had a great year at FSU last season.

Projected Z-WR2: TJ McWilliams

Seems to have developed a nice connection with QB1 Lincoln Kienholz. Will be his first year getting significant PT!

Projected X-WR1: TreyShun Hurry

Length + versatility—recorded 481 yards at 17.2 YPC at San Jose State before adding depth at Louisville last year. Sneaky deep threat with upside.

ACC Career Trek‼️🙌

This past week two of our student-athletes were selected to attend the ACC Career Trek in Charlotte, NC!

They had the opportunity to connect with other student-athletes, explore potential career paths, network with professionals and gain insights from employers!

They visited 12 companies in Charlotte, and gained hands-on experience and behind-the-scenes exposure to different industries!
