Excited to announce my very own 4-Week Open Commercial Dance Class!

Ready to move, sweat, and perform like nobody’s watching? Join me for a 4-week open commercial dance designed for dancers who want to bring out their confidence, energy, and personality on the dance floor.

Each week, we’ll explore a different commercial style routine. The first three weeks feature high-attitude commercial choreography, while the final week turns up the heat with a Dancehall & Soca-inspired session that celebrates rhythm, flow, and pure joy.

Come dance, get inspired, and finish each class feeling stronger, freer, and more confident to be exactly who you are.

Designed by @athan.martin - thank you for the incredible poster! ❤️

Over the last few months my health has slowed me down more than I’d like. Anyone who knows me knows I’m usually always moving, creating and working with the community, so being forced to take a step back hasn’t been easy.

But even during this time, seeing the young people around us continue to grow reminds me exactly why this work matters so much ❤️

Through Xtreme Creative Impact, we’ve been building a space where young creatives can train, collaborate and gain real insight into the arts and creative industries.

It’s not just about dance — it’s about opening doors.

🎭 Dance & choreography
🎶 Vocals & performance
📸 Photography & videography
🎧 DJing & music
✨ Costume creation & tailoring
🎬 Production & staging

Young creatives gain mentorship, exposure and real experience, while building portfolios and artistic CVs that can help them take the next steps within the creative industries.

Projects like To Da Beat bring everyone together through rehearsal time, community productions, training, workshops and masterclasses — helping build confidence and create real pathways into paid opportunities.

We’ve started a fundraiser to help sustain these opportunities and invest back into the youth, supporting rehearsal spaces, costumes, training and production so this community can keep growing.

This work is carried forward by the dedication of our organisation directors @elliehill9938 , @holdol999 , @serenisabellapope , @parisanne_x and myself, all working together to continue building opportunities for the next generation of creatives.

If you’d like to support the journey, the link is in my bio.

Thank you to everyone who continues to show love and support the community we’re building 🤍

So about last weekend 🙌🏾 what an amazing turnout. I’d like to give a big thank you to everyone who attended and donated. This wouldn’t have been possible without you, your good energy and kindness.

As mentioned this event, it was a fundraiser to help raise funds to contribute to the growth and development of the Xtreme students. The funds are to assist with tuition fees, costume creation, travel costs, and their tour. This was achieved because of the support and encouragement of everyone who attended and supported ‘To Da Beat.

I’d like to thank the Xtreme team for assisting me with the organisation of this event

🤎 TO DA BEAT | ATHAN’S 30TH BIRTHDAY SHOWDOWN – RODEO EDITION 🤠

What a night. 💥
I was in two minds about even doing this show because of my back — but after some convincing and a two-week turnaround, we made it happen. And honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday.

This show was more than a performance — it was love, community, and creativity rolled into one wild Western dream. To everyone who helped, performed, supported, or simply showed up — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

🎧 DJ Jared (Viking Sound) — for keeping the saloon alive all night.
🏠 Vijay & 2 Funky Music Café — for letting us transform your venue into our cowboy home.
🍸 Manisha — the queen behind the bar, keeping everyone fuelled and smiling.
🚪 Justine & Lerencia — the friendliest door duo ever, making sure every guest felt welcome.
🗂️ Sheetal & Artee — for holding down the admin and organisation like absolute pros.

💃 Performers & Guest Artists:
Demi, Ellie, Paris, Seren, Juliana, Cherelle, Holly, Roxanne, Izzy, Ria, Angelica (guest artist), Lucy and Nadina (guest artists) from Dance Finesse — you each brought something unforgettable. You told stories, built energy, and made The Sheriff’s Showdown come alive.

💫 Behind the Scenes:
Holly, Ellie, and Demi — I truly don’t know what I’d do without you. You handled everything from planning to managing chaos, keeping this show together from start to finish.

And to everyone who attended, those who supported from afar, and those I hadn’t seen in years who came just to make my birthday special — you honestly made this night unforgettable. Seeing familiar faces, old friends, and new ones all in one space meant the world to me.

This year’s Cowboy + Brown theme was inspired by Virgo season — grounded, earthy, and full of strength. The colour brown symbolises stability, connection, and growth — exactly what turning 30 means to me. ♍️

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to healing, creating, and always keeping it To Da Beat. 💫
