“Not all guidance looks the same, and that’s okay.”

Mentorship and mentoring — two words we use every day, but do we really know the difference? 🤍

These two words are often used interchangeably, but they are actually distinct, and understanding that distinction could change the way you grow, lead, and show up for others in medicine.

One is a long-term relationship built on trust and overall development. The other is a powerful act of guidance for a specific need or moment. Both matter. Both leave a mark.

Swipe through to learn what sets them apart, and ask yourself which one you need right now, and which one you might already be offering to someone else.

Drop a comment if this resonated with you, or tag a woman in medicine who has been a mentor or mentoring figure in your life!
