Imagine what they’ve seen and endured. These are children that have seen murder, rape, torture & now captivity.

They’ll never be the same.
We need them back.

Imagine for one second, this was your child.

Now realize that likely means you were tortured and murdered on 10/7.

If you survived, you’re 45 sleepless nights, and days of anxiety and pain just wondering and waiting. For your child.

Our @yeshivaathletics was hosted by @usj_bluejays last night in #Connecticut. Always a great place to visit and always great competition. It was a fun, back and forth game and even had a game-winning shot with 5 seconds left.

They won. We lost.

But that wasn’t the night. The night was about a man named Jim Calhoun coming into our locker room before the game to address our student athletes.

Coach Calhoun, if you don’t know, is a hall of fame basketball coach who won 3 national championships at @uconnmbb . In our basketball world, he’s royalty.

There were a lot of things he could have said to our guys, but he nailed it right on the head with his words of support.

Coach let our guys know very clearly, that as dark as the world looks right now, and with what’s going on at college campuses, our student-athletes and community need to know and understand that there are good people behind them. That there is good and there is evil, and despite what we see outside, there are people who do know the difference.

He demanded that our guys stay strong and stay resolved, just like @stateofisrael and the @idf should in wiping out Hamas.

Coach Calhoun has been instrumental in raising significant funds for Israel in the last few weeks, and continues to do so.

I wanted to publicly thank him for the support and the encouragement he’s always given me the last few years. I wanted to also thank @usjct and their administration and security team for making us feel not just safe, but welcome. And finally, the @usj_bluejays players - for their toughness, their class, their competitiveness and for liking my kicks.

Wishing Coach Calhoun good health and אריכת ימים. And wishing the team success, health and a long season.

You guys will always have fans in NY.

I had the opportunity to speak to about 300 Jewish high school students this weekend in #Memphis, TN. I shared with them a message of perspective as well as a challenge to action.

We all have to take steps to assist our brothers and sisters in #Israel as they fight for our existence and our homeland. We are being tested. Each of us has to answer in the best way we can.

Abraham was tested by God putting his son’s life on the line. In Israel, many are being tested exactly the same way as they send off their sons and daughters to war; putting their lives on the line.

We have to step up. We have to sacrifice too. We cannot just say “Am Yisrael Chai” and send a check. It has to hurt! It has to be real!

These are not normal times. Our responses and actions cannot be just the usual. We must do more.

Find a way. Every single day make a difference and give of yourself. Even if it’s painful. All of our futures are on the line.

It’s Friday again. It’s a new month. Many of our hearts are still heavy. In these times it’s even more important to find gratitude in the light that shines amongst the darkness.

For the month of October I decided to share my light by giving a portion of my Beautycounter + Green Compass proceeds to help others. I am humbled to share that through your support…I am able to donate over $400 to the following organizations doing meaningful work in Israel🙏🤍🕊️

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!

If you would like to show your support…please learn more about these special places here: @12daysofgivingandgifting2023

Stay tuned for the organizations I look forward to supporting in November✨💙
