Big news today.
Our new song “Wrong Syde of the Bed” by Total Slacker just landed on Rolling Stone’s “Songs You Need To Know” playlist alongside some incredible artists.

Huge thanks to Rolling Stone for the love.
Very grateful to be included.

So apparently since I work for @krclradio people put me on the list for fun things… @h2oetry and I had the pleasure of peeping the locally created film #CheeseBait created by @_totalslacker_ here is my hot take on the film that will be making another round at @brewvies come Nov/Dec.

Cheese Bait 🧀 was a nostalgic ride to simpler times and long awkward moments. Tommy D was giving Jim Carrey playing Andy Kaufman, playing Andy Kaufman’s manager in Man on The Moon, with worse audio. Some scenes could have been half the length but the slow-mo karate fight scene could have gone on forever. Would definitely recommend to a friend, especially if they have their medical card and a fondness for a well placed fart joke and a love for spotting Utah haunts. Lots of fun and can’t wait to see what shenanigans the boys run into next!

“I am so happy that this premiered in a movie theater at all, and Brewvies was the perfect place to see Cheese Bait,” says Contributing Writer B. Allan Johnson.

Low budget and locally made, the new indie flick Cheese Bait is definitely turning some heads. With its zany cast and homebrewed effects, this full-length film by director-writer-actor Tucker Rountree (@_totalslacker_) is an experience unlike ever before. Check out the full review through the link in our bio!

CHEESEBAIT is back for one night only!
Friday, August 15th @ 10pm (doors) see the locally made made film that has the world talking.
Tickets available from www.cheesebaitmovie.com
🧀🎬
In this lame brain comedy, Tommy D, a washed-up goofball hotel lounge singer and his band (Mikey and Stevie), are too oblivious to know they are out of style. After Tommy’s girlfriend leaves and the band gets an eviction notice on their apartment door, Tommy needs to find money fast. While Tommy is eating three-day old pizza, a poster of his 1970’s hero, the singer of Foreigner, Lou Graham, comes to life and gives him the cheat code to scoring the “big show in Vegas”. As legends in their own minds, the band sets out on a cross- country road trip with stars in their eyes. The sleezeball trio gets into mischief every step of the way in this comedic hijinks romp.

it’s tiiiiime 🎵 Here’s my 2023 roundup of songs I worked on 📖 A song fully by me (ya iProduce), some features, organic remote collabs, duets, bg vox, layers of harmonies etc. I have a lot to be grateful for musically. People trust me to contribute to their tunes. Some of those tunes got over a million streams whatever you want that to mean ✍🏽💫 Other songs reached far away places 🗺️ But music isn’t about numbers. To me? It’s a gift to have the desire to create and to have anyone (yes even a single person) listen.

NEXT YEAR some of my core bands may return with new music and I could say I’m excited for that but it wouldn’t fully express the LEVEL of utmost excitement so - til then 🐌

Thanks @bendylansloan @ricwilsonisme @chromeo @atrak @bosqmusic @mixedbycaserta @moodoid @_fielded_ @_sarahgoldstone_ @adamlouisschatz @davidschmavid @_totalslacker_ and I included @zenizenzenizen as honorable mention because I missed you last year ❤️✌🏽🎤🎶

NEW MUSIC RAWKS BUT HERE ARE SOME GOLDEN OLDIES FROM LAST YEAR!!! Maybe some as old as… 2020!!! Sick, right? Yeah, people were churning out bangers even back then. So great stuff, been cooking in the playlist pot and had to add them on the lists @ superstereosound.com. Too few listens on some of them, like the extreme summer banger by Total Slacker or that exquisite slow jam by Tokyo Police Club-singer Dave Monks side business bandcalledmax. Turn those numbers up, folks!
