We’re back with another exciting program, bringing together four different takes on sound with @_trebbor , @fiekecornelissen , @xceptor_ and @greyarea.zip

Trebbor kicks things off with a love for dissonance and raw textures.

Wicky brings together a lifelong love for all kinds of music, blending wobbly and weird sounds into pulsing techno, breaks and bass.

Rotterdam-based producer and DJ xceptor explores the space between euphoric atmospheres and bass-heavy, drum-driven tracks. His sound moves freely between styles and influences.

And then there’s Grey Area, all about groove, built around bassheavy rhythms and a balance between light and dark. Less about genre, more about feeling.

See you tonight! Or tune in!

The Basement is curated by Brian Omen. They drew inspiration for this stage from a work by Marina Abakanowicz, centered on themes of freedom and loss, rebirth and destruction. The result is a warm, immersive space where experimentation and meaning come together, offering a moment of calm.

With a fondness for dissonance and layered, intense textures, Trebbor opens the stage. Anni Nöps follows with a blend of ghostly drones and floating melodies. Ramses3000 and Brian Omen close the stage with their joint live performance Found Everywhere, in which their musical worlds merge.

The Basement is not a museum or an exhibition. Feel free to be yourself and engage with the space, as long as you do not disrupt the performance. Be mindful of one another, and enjoy.

Last Friday… What an experience. To see this place transformed the way it did that night. The warmth of the people and the atmosphere in that smoke filled cafe above this beautiful skatepark… it was special.

I have not smiled as much playing B2B ever as much as I did in this one. Thank you for dancing with us and having fun. As part of the organization as well, thank you. The sound, stagedesign, transforming this unassuming cafe into one of the more characteristic dance floors I’ve been on. Just wow. Thank you again again again.

Love, and hope to see you all at the next one 🧡❤️
