❤️ Y’all when I tell ya this past week was jam packed - I ain’t kidding!!

❤️ Y’all when I tell ya connecting with old friends and new friends sharing family, music, art, community, politics, emotions, connections, memories & new beginnings is so important and so cathartic & so essential to our collective human being stardust bittersweet beautiful human existence - I can’t over-emphasize that enough!

What is “being present”? A big part of it is just showing up & being your authentic self -The Universe will align your energies with the right people who are just as compassionate as you are & that is when our communities can move mountains together, interpersonally, & independently in your own heart: compassion is the key.

Look as just a snippet of these beautiful faces to grace my presence is just the last 7 days (of course there’s more & I promise I’ll post ‘em) I love & adore them all, & especially my husband Jeff just look at his eyes when we are working side by side & for the first time I jumped in his @kentuckyturfcare & helped sculpt his clients lawns & hedges cuz we are always people who want to make things beautiful & better for all!! It’s kinda of crazy to think but yeah in 7 days I’ve networked with 3 different Mayors of 3 precious cities in the Bluegrass & it’s because we are part of our communities that care & want to make things better for all our children!

Mon Oct 12 - at my very good friend @cosmicdust108 & her husband Ajay’s gorgeous home - the intimate selection of notable friends gathered for a Meet & Greet with Honorable Mayor Linda Gordon of the City of Lexington.

Fri Oct 16th - at the Inaugural @ginkgogalore curated by our own @lexingtonartleague . Mayor Rainwater of the City of Wilmore kicked off the ceremony!

The American Theatre Wing has provided me countless opportunities over the past 11 years; a life changing summer intensive, countless Broadway show tickets, an apprenticeship & internship, friendships I will have forever, and a reminder that I really do have a place in the theatre community. However, my favorite opportunity they have given me is the Tony Awards! The Tony’s not only educate me on the power of live theatre, but they provide me the biggest boost of encouragement & drive to continue to bust my ass as a creative! It’s been the greatest privilege meeting my stunningly beautiful friend, @joceylace through the Wing as well. We’ve turned into quite the Tony duo over the years. (Maybe it’s a sign 👀)
All in all, the 79th Tony Awards was one for the books! This was my 10th time attending, so we went out with a bang! My lovely suit was styled for me by the one and only @_trevelation and painted by the Unconquerable @wyliecaudillart . Still pinching myself I had the opportunity to collaborate with these gents to bring my vision and love of fashion & theatre to life! Thank you, boys!

Wow, I’m just so grateful for life right now. Forever thankful to @thewing for believing in me so I could believe in myself!

WYLIE CAUDILL deserves a Tony Award for his work on this suit! I told him “Theatre best encapsulates me as a person; it’s my safe space.” and he completely turned that into a physical reality for me… ON A FREAKING SUIT!!! My buddy, Trevor over at Dillards got me looking fresher than Obama did in this tan suit too. Please run to him for all of your (and ya manz) suit needs. Wylie, THANK YOU!!!
