Hosted a little lunch pause to celebrate #EatingAtHome in Brooklyn 🤎 A book starts out as a remarkably insular process, and after years (years!) of squirreling the thing away, you send it out to the world. I feel so fortunate to have shared it for the first time in the company of many of the writers, cooks, and entrepreneurs I most admire. Endless thanks to @erinjennie of @underwater_weaving for opening her home (and her baskets!!) to this. Once again @katliakos beautifully brought our home recipes to life — from last year’s book shoot to now on tour. And to the team at @havenwellwithin : thank you for bringing this whole thing to life, and for somehow outfitting me in clothes that already feel like I’ve loved them for years. Outrageous tablescape courtesy of my friends at @coyuchi and @porta_nyc, who magically brought in Italian dishes from the EXACT makers Issey and I visited when we got engaged in Puglia. Massive thanks to @kelseycherry for capturing the moment so perfectly. Wow, jeez. I am soaking in the gratitude to be here. Eating at Home is out THIS TUESDAY, April 14. I can’t wait to keep celebrating with you.
