5/30 Cookies and Friends Showcase - The Sullivans 🍪

Going into this space, I was filled with doubt, and was in my head about whether I was truly capable of sharing the stage with some of the best and most respected dancers in the community. Though this journey was short lived and took place in the span of 9 weeks, it is safe to say that I got so much out of it.

Before this, I had never choreographed, let alone created a section for a set, so I was extremely nervous actually having to take such a big step in such a short amount of time, but watching the results, I couldn’t be more proud of how everything turned out.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you sososo much to @choreocookies for welcoming me into this space and allowing me to have been part of this process. I truly believe that this was the push that I needed in order to fully sit with myself and really think about my capabilities not only as a dancer but now, a choreographer.

Regardless of if I personally got to work with you or not, I’d like to thank all my fellow attendees for making this experience unforgettable.

And to my Sullivans, thank you guys for working with me and helping me grow my abilities. You became my family over those 9 weeks, and I know I can trust and rely on you guys in the future for anything. I love you guys.

Thought l’d share my section from our set. I am so eager to continue to grow as a dancer and choreographer, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me.🤎
