Strong women raise strong women.🤍

Mother really does know best. Another business woman who has always understood the highs and lows that come with running your own business. From a young girl you always encouraged me to follow my dreams with my career and pushed me to succeed.

You’ve picked me up during the low points of business and celebrated the wins with me too.

A cancer survivor, a lover of antiques, with the biggest heart — and the kind of woman I’ve always looked up to and aspired to be.

Happy Mother’s Day Mum
Thank you Mum. Love you always 🤍

It’s #ThankYouThursday! 🥳

This week, we want to say a special thank you to our incredible corporate partner, Indigo, for their outstanding fundraising efforts in 2024 which raised €5,100 in support of our vital services.

Thank you to the ladies of Gortjordan and Kilmaine who organised a lovely evening of tea and coffee recently and raised €525. Your support is greatly appreciated ☕

Thanks to everyone at Fit4Life gym who took part in the annual Cycle to Lapland in December and raised an incredible £2,696 and to team Ciara Corbett who tackled the Craic 10k and raised £2,100 to help us ensure no child faces cancer alone. Well done everyone!

Thank you to the wonderful staff and pupils of Dromore High School who raised £2,715 and to Sacred Heart Grammar School who took on our ReadOn challenge and raised £4,631 💛

Thanks to Margaret at Vintage Etc for raising £1,455 during her Riding Through Difficult Times fundraiser.

And finally, a massive thanks to Alan McAleer who raised £11,138 throughout the past year. This will be split between our services and Cash For Kids.

✨If you are feeling inspired and want to help make a difference with your workplace, we would love to hear from you. Get in touch today on fundraising@cancerfundforchildren.com!

Custom order ready to pack.
This one is off to Newcastle Co.Down @_vintage_etc , worth checking out for Mid Century furniture and homewares 💯

This style of shade is a reminder of where it all began with lampshades. The Beatnik at Longden Coleham (guessing that’s nearly a decade ago?!). We were buying some great West German lamps, many without shades and those that did..too many years of passive smoking to consider keeping them!
So we made replica shades like this one to complete the lamp bases.
Fast forward 10 years, still buying & selling Mid Century wares (and plenty of other interesting items along the way).. and of course shades. 😎

THE OTHER SIDE

You can be forgiven for forgetting about this side after the amazing mural! But I’ve not, i absolutely adore this side also! The mural came first so I was left with the task of choosing the paint which took me a wee while but always coming back to this one, I wasn’t ready to come away from dark earthy colours (it would have been so easy to go light) this colour is a dark grey with the most amazing green undertones especially this morning with a little sunshine coming through (yayy!)

Had to include the amazing Mae from @abigailahern I’ve been coveting one of these for a long time, imagine my excitement when I saw it back in 🖤

Happy Tuesday 💋
