🎉 WE’RE REOPENING TOMORROW! 🎉

After a difficult few days, we’ve been working hard to get our Downey store back up and running!

We’re excited to announce that Retro Hex Collex Downey will officially reopen tomorrow, Sunday, October 25th, from 12 pm to 8 PM! 🎮🔥

We truly appreciate all the love, support, and kind messages we’ve received during this challenging time. ❤️

We would love to see you all tomorrow! Your support means more to us than you know, especially as we work to get back on our feet.

Thank you for supporting our small business! 🙏❤️

Here’s a little more information that we’re able to share. The same individuals who got into our store also tried to get into our fellow collector’s shop, @pandyscollectibles , on the same day.

One person was not wearing a mask. If you recognize him in these photos, please let us know. Any information, no matter how small, could be helpful.

🙏 We appreciate everyone’s support in helping us spread the word and keeping our local collectible community safe! ❤️

You probably alresdy know this, but @geekn.out is, without question, the number one vintage toy show in the SoCal area, jam-packed with obscure action figures, rare oddities, and more Mexican bootlegs than anyone can fathom. But on this occasion, I was invited to attend the vendor load-in - several hours before the doors even opened up for VIP night! Needless to say, no regrets there…

Gettin’ in early means getting a sneak peak at some rare unproduced toys… It means calling first dibs on goodies just as they come out of the box… And of course, it means hobnobbing with the friendliest, most-knowledgeable community of toy collectors around!

But if my wallet wants to survive a full weekend of toy hunting, I’m gonna need to make a few extra bucks myself, which is why, for the first time ever, I’m coming to this show with something to sell… A relic from my childhood and a grail for many collectors - the G.I. Joe Night Boomer! Can I sell this elusive Toys R Us exclusive? Maybe with a little help from my friends…

In this episode:
🤠 Unproduced Sheriff Solar Toys
🐜 Army Ants Attack!
🤝 @dirtystoylet ‘s Big Deal
😈XL Dieners and Jumbo Mordles!
👻 @david.apuzzo ’s Bubblegum Conundrum
✈️ And I say farewell to my childhood…

I say this without any hyperbole whatsoever, this was the CRAZIEST toy weekend of my life! And this is only the beginning of it…
