May surely had its ups and downs but I got through thanks to my friends and family 🫶🏽
If I wasn’t training for the 5k, I was making food content for my page, or going out to restaurants with my friends, having long talks with my cousins, or spending 5 hours repotting 30+ plants. I did a lot and I got a lot more to do!

2026 Rewind - March Edition
Celebrated my 1 year anniversary as a homeowner 🥳
The doors are finally open to the public, more dinners and parties to come!
Spent a lot of the month with my friends, trying new food, and started training for the 5k in June. So much happened!

2026 Rewind - February Edition
“Joy is the act of resistance” - that quote really resonated with me this month. We had Austin Channing Brown as the keynote speaker for our Black History Month celebration at work. Her perspective made me change the way I think and actively take time to appreciate the small wins, no matter how minor they may seem.
Shout to my friends and family who celebrate all the little joys in life 🫶🏽

Pt 2)

the second half of 2025… the part i was scared of fr. it taught me independence and the importance of keeping relationships strong

in the last dregs of june i met with friends & had a going away party. loved that so many people came out and chilled with me.

my boy brandon took me to lake superior and we hiked a park & it was genuinely one of the best days of my life

i finally moved to the middle of nowhere alabama & met my coworkers. funny enough that picture is in seattle at the headquarters

went to see my bestie for her birthday & attended my first weeknd concert. hella lit

kamia came to visit me! love her down.

me and my boy armon linked up in memphis to catch the demon slayer movie. 10/10 experience

linked up with my with my lbs in dirty ole br for homecoming. made some dope memories again for old times sake

then the rest of the year.. lol i started running 5ks and joined a run club. bro i was bored. definitely a great time & i actually brought in the new year with one more 5k, officially locking me in to the tradition

anyway here’s to a good year. let’s hope 2026 offers more!

2025 wrapped: heart full. ❤️

On January 1, I randomly decided to fast from alcohol for one year. It certainly wasn’t like I had an alcohol problem. But God made it clear to me that He had more for me, and that path didn’t involve drinking. In order to fully embrace being in a new city, I wanted to lean into the discomfort of the newness- all of it. The conversations, the experiences, the people, the sights, the pitfalls, the lessons, everything. I needed a clear mind and a clear heart to truly hear Him. And what a beautiful experience it’s been. I’m so glad I was obedient.

God blessed me so abundantly this year. I made a beautiful community, grew closer to Him, and fully poured into myself and those around me.

I’m SO excited for another 365 to keep on l-i-v-i-n. Cheers to 2025 and hello, 2026! 🥂
