Siege of Madrid
|
The siege of Madrid was a two and a half year siege of the Republican controlled Spanish capital city of Madrid by the Nationalist armies under General Francisco Franco, during the Spanish Civil War of 1936 to 1939. The city, besieged from October 1936, fell to the Nationalist armies on 28 March 1939. The Battle of Madrid in November 1936 saw the most intense fighting in and around the city when the Nationalists made their most determined attempt to take the Republican capital.

A peaceful hike through the mountains

First of all I wanted to say thank you to everybody who helped me with this build by providing me great feedback and providing me some fantastic ideas, so thank you once again.
Initially The build was going to be ww2 but I decided to change it last minute due to some complication.

~ LEGO Jagdpanther ~

The Jagdpanther (German: "hunting Panther"), Sd.Kfz. 173, was a tank destroyer (Jagdpanzer, a self-propelled anti-tank gun) built by Germany during World War II. The Jagdpanther combined the 8.8 cm Pak 43 anti-tank gun, similar to the main gun of the Tiger II, and the armor and suspension of the Panther chassis. ~ Wiki

The Battle of Königgrätz (or Sadowa) was the decisive battle of the Austro-Prussian War in which the Kingdom of Prussia defeated the Austrian Empire. It took place on July 3, 1866, near the Bohemian towns of Königgrätz. With the Prussians possessing 220,000 and the Austrians have 238,000 men with the Battle in favor of the Austrian army. The outnumbered Prussian infantry used their superior training and tactical doctrine and the Dreyse needle gun to win the battle and drive out the Austrian forces. The Austrian army went into dissaray and held a static and unorganized retreat. Since Austria had decided not to participate in the first Geneva convention Austrian medical staff were shot at and forced to make a quick retreat leaving dozens of Austrian wounded to die in the fields of Königgrätz. The Battle ended with 2,000 Prussian dead, and almost 6,000 Austrian killed. The Battle of Königgrätz marked a massive landmark in the Austrian Prussian War and eventually aided in the swift and brutal victory of Prussian military forces.
