Meet your SJS Young Life leaders!!!!🤩🤩🤩

WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR THEM!

SJS alum Jeffrey is scuba certified🤿🌊 for up to 300 feet in depth, he has summited Mount Kilimanjaro🗻 and he used to be a ball boy for the Astros!🤠⚾️

Rob was a viral meme😱 (stay tuned for our upcoming posts), his family lived in Mexico🇲🇽 for two years and he has 10(!) nieces and nephews! Rob is a SJS alum, and he is also married to Kate (sophomore girls leaders)!

Sophie is also scuba certified🤿 (wow, so many scuba certifications), she talks in her sleep and Cabo Bob’s🌯 was her wedding food. Sophie is married to a SJS alum and they’re both Longhorns!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻

Annaleese is also a Horned Frog!! 🐸 Her first car was a purple 1973 Duster with no A/C or speedometer. She’s sold Craig Biggio shoes two times at Fleet Feet, and she’s won Twilight Trivia twice‼️

🚨NEW LEADER ALERT! Ramsey is a Longhorn!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻She also has a black belt, can put both feet behind her head and is an architect🏛️

Ashton went to LSU🐅 !! He once got kicked in the head by a bull🐂 when he was two years old (he says he “survived and thrived”), he was neighbors with Brittany Spears’ family and he showed hogs in FFA for 10 years!

🚨NEW LEADER ALERT! Heinrick once did a reverse gainer (?) off a diving board🏊🏼‍♂️ and had to get reconstructive surgery on his nose (maybe ask him about this sometime). He was also on stage with Flo Rida, where he was given a mic🎤 (also maybe ask him about this sometime). And lastly, Heinrick lived in the Philippines for nine years!!

🚨NEW LEADER ALERT! Reid has officiated a wedding. He once hit a triple⚾️ off of Shedeur Sanders in high school in front of Deion😤and he was OCHEM lab partners with the little kid from Disney’s “Shake it Up.”

Kate is an Aggie👍🏻 (we have a lot of Aggie leaders). She drives a stick shift, she played the bassoon in the sixth grade and she can slalom ski⛷️. She’s also the only leader who listed all skills as her fun facts, so she is very talented at a lot of things💯. Kate is married to Rob!!!!

🚨NEW LEADER ALERT! Berit is 200 pages into writing a book! She just did a solo trip in Ireland🇮🇪 this summer, and she consumes a “borderline concerning

Small Group Leader SQUAD x TESTIMONY TUESDAY!

Our small group leaders are a HUGE part of what makes Story Students! We are so grateful for everything they do to pour into students each week!

Here is what Leigh, who leads high school girls, and Carter, who leaders middle school boys, have to say about leading with students:

“Serving as a small group leader has been such a special experience! I’m so proud of the way my high school girls have grown over the year I’ve known them and I’m so excited to get a front row seat into what God is doing in their lives!”

“Growing up, having a place where I could learn what it truly meant to follow Jesus while having tons of fun and making new friends played such a huge role in making my faith my own. Now as a youth leader, I get the opportunity to be on the other side of that experience, walking alongside students as they wrestle with the most important decision they will ever make!”
