One week ago today, more than 7,000 people came together at Lefty Gomez Baseball Field for the Rodeo Music and Art Market, a day of music, art, and community. Thank you for coming with open hearts and minds, and for bringing such shared happiness and neighborly goodwill with you. We’re deeply grateful to our performers, vendors, volunteers, sponsors, local businesses, public safety partners, and the residents of Rodeo, who made it all possible. We will never forget this magical day in our little town.

For all of us that grew up in the Bay Area, last weekend was something special - and it wouldn't have happened without a small and mighty crew having a vision and being brave enough to go for it.

So grateful to @rodeomusicandartmarket
, @rodeo.baseball , event mastermind @annabiotix , and all the student volunteers for putting on such a well organized, fun event that put a loving spotlight on Rodeo.

Need to give @sophia.bydesign her flowers for all the amazing graphic design work she did. Guys, there are A LOT of assets to design and manage for an event like this. Then, she had extra rush work to do when the PR blew up - and she nailed it!

It was the first time @luckyunluckydesigns had a full 10x10, and we were busy the whole time. Maria got a lot of new eyes on her art, and we had good conversations with folks. We also got visits from friends, which meant a lot.

I only got a few janky photos and videos because I was busy living in the moment. That's how you know it was a good show.

As if @the__coverups and @theecjramone wasn't enough of a treat, we also had a banger of an aftershow at @tootstavern getting exposed to new bands that absolutely shred.

Thank you 🙏

Saw @the__coverups for the first time! • Awesome to see some old faces and everyone in the bay area is so damn friendly • They did Surrender by cheap trick and Billie closed with basket case on acoustic so im beyond happy lol It was like the sequel to the Cretin Family show, CJ Ramone came up to do some Ramones songs.

It’s so hot! It must be fall in the Bay.

On Monday, Coyote published a great article written by our very own Ronny about the new DIY imprint Names to Love You By. The record label is a home for queer and trans folks to create unvarnished, vulnerable work, and we’re so stoked they’re pushing the envelope forward for the underground arts scene here in the Bay. Head over to Coyote to get all the details.
