$From Garden Grove, CA- POW PERCUSSION Presenting their 2026 program; This Curated Mind Following my previous season of indoor, I had decided that indoor percussion was not for me. I battled with myself for months and months on if I should audition for other groups or even step back in to the world of WGI as is. Giving Indoor another shot was the greatest decision I have ever made. To everyone in the POW front ensemble, thank you. Each and every one of you are so important to me and have shaped me into being a better person. There is genuinely no other group of people I’d be willing to drive 10+ hours every weekend to see. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your lives for some time, the memories we made will never be forgotten. The 20+ times we went to Shootz, POW gaming, sending Carlos to the Hi-Hat… times like this are priceless. I love you all so much, continue to do great things :) To the amazing staff and administration, THANK YOU. I think this team of educators has by far been the most insightful for me, but also the most caring. I’ve always been the type to be quiet nonchalant with my staff but I really felt like I could talk to you guys as who I really am. I feel like I have grown a lot as not only a player but as an educator from you guys, I have already implemented a lot of your methods and teaching styles into my own programs. None of this could be done without you, I look forward to future seasons with you; you inspire me. Most importantly, I feel like I have finally found a home. The Pulse/Pow organization has treated me so well and given me so much, I see myself finishing my years of indoor now. In the span of 6 months, old friends, new friends, educators, and infinite experiences changed my mind about my involvement in WGI and opened up countless new opportunities for me. I feel the drive and motivation to push myself further and come back even stronger for the 2027 season. I found my passion again, I found my people, and I found my home.
