Meet Dana, the Academic Director behind our Village Herbalist programs at the Berkeley Herbal Center. 🌿

Village Herbalist is BHC’s two-year online clinical herbalism program, designed for beginners who are ready to go deep. Dana has spent years shaping the programs to bring serious herbal education online, and here’s what she loves most about it:

🌼You can join from wherever you are.

🌼A wonderful group of teachers, each bringing their own experiences to the classroom.

🌼Medicine making! Gathering live, every single week, not only to practice, but share stories and get questions answered in real time.

Are you ready to take the next step in your herbal journey? Classes begin October 5th and spots are still available!

After Oshala Farm’s devastating fire the community has helped raise almost $275K! This is wonderful! As many of you know, rebuilding multiple structures is going to cost 10x that amount, and we will continue to help raise funds for a complete rebuild.

Join beloved Oshala Herb Camp teachers for a four day fundraiser to reach these goals. These inspiring virtual classes explore herbal medicine, botanical traditions, medicine making, ethical wildcrafting, ancestral plant wisdom, and more. All classes are recorded and all donors will have access to the recorded classes for one year.

100% of donations will go directly to Oshala Farm.

We suggest donating $75-$250 per day for classes. Any donation amount will have access to the recorded classes. ;)

(If you have already donated, you are welcome to join all classes - the link is sent out via GoFundMe Updates)

Thank you for your support! Let’s keep doing this!

Link to donate in profile and stories. Thank you to all the teachers that are generously donating their time and wisdom!

Saint John’s Wort season is upon us, and I’m not the only one who gets excited about it!

Friends who know how much I love this incredible plant have been sending me all kinds of wonderful Saint John’s Wort content this summer, but this video from @_wildkin really struck a chord and got my inspiration flowing.

She captured the magic of this plant so beautifully that I wanted to put my own spin on it by sharing how we harvest fresh Saint John’s Wort @beherefarm and capture it in biodynamic olive oil through a solar infusion process…something you can try yourself at home!

Thank you @_wildkin for the sweet post and inspiration!
