Just getting around to posting these from last weekend!

Things to note:
•leaving for the airport at 5am the morning after a concert: not a great idea
•never wear those white boots again (IYKYK)

Super proud of how well we captured this night though. Usually we just fill our camera rolls with children 👶🏻 🤍

UCLA STUNS DEFENDING CHAMPS TO PUNCH FINAL FOUR TICKET

By GameChanger Media

And just like that… the champs are gone.

In a jaw-dropping Elite 8 thriller, #9 seed UCLA shocked the world and eliminated top-seeded, defending champion Michigan, 39-34, on Monday night — sending the Bruins to the BYBL Final Four.

Will Blackburn once again rose to the occasion, leading UCLA with 17 points and setting the tone with poise and big-time shot making. The Bruins found themselves in an early 8-4 hole, but fired back with a 10-0 run that flipped the game on its head.

UCLA took a 19-16 lead into halftime and held strong down the stretch. When Michigan trimmed the lead to just one at 28-27, UCLA answered with an 11-2 knockout punch, quieting the comeback and sending a message to the rest of the bracket.

Keondre Smith (12 points) and Andrew Phelps (10 points) were flamethrowers from deep, each hitting timely threes to keep the offense flowing and Michigan chasing. The trio of Blackburn, Smith, and Phelps combined for all 39 of UCLA’s points.

For Michigan, Kenneth Ureña led with 15, while Dynae Diaz scored 13 and Jaxon Young added 6. But the defending champs couldn’t find enough answers late — and their hopes of back-to-back titles were officially erased.

Now, the Cinderella Bruins move on to the Final Four, where they’ll face #4 Illinois in what promises to be another slugfest.

UCLA wasn’t supposed to make it this far. But at this point, you’d be crazy to count them out.
