A motorcyclist roamed the street,
With a bike he thought was incomplete,
Compared to others, it was slow,
And his heart felt the weight of the blow.

The challenges in life were just the same,
To others, he always felt tame,
He wanted to move forward, faster,
And leave behind all that he could master.

But as he rode, he saw ahead,
A bike that was slow, he could tell,
He overtook it with a smile,
And suddenly, things felt worthwhile.

He realized that speed wasn't all,
That it's not a race, but a journey that calls,
To appreciate the bike he had,
And to see the beauty in what's not as fast.

For the challenges in life, he could see,
Were just like the bikes that he'd meet,
Sometimes he'd feel he was lagging behind,
But it's all in the mind, he could find.

With a newfound appreciation for his ride,
He felt that he could conquer the tide,
The challenges would come and go,
But he had the strength to endure and grow.

So let us learn from the motorcyclist's plight,
To cherish what we have and not lose sight,
For the challenges we face are our own,
And it's up to us to see what's shown.

Echoes of My Heart _Reflections on My WhatsApp Archives

In my WhatsApp archive, I find a record of my past and present time,
With contacts both cherished and undefined, Whose presence in my life is sometimes hard to define.
There are those whom I love dearly,
Whose absence fills me with regret,
Yet to spare them from pain and fear clearly I keep them in archive,
lest I forget…

And then there are those who are irrelevant, Whose presence in my life is fleeting But still, I keep them in my WhatsApp Archive compartment,
To avoid any unwanted meeting.

There are also those who are pure and kind, Whose words bring me comfort and light And those who make me feel less inclined… Whose words bring me pain and endless strife.
Yet in my archive, I find a solace,
A place where my memories can stay,
A treasure trove of moments and traces,
Of the people who have crossed my way.
So here's to the inhabitants of the archive feature on my WhatsApp…
A place where my memories can thrive,
A space where I can sort and select,
The people who make my heart come alive. @HumbleUsman

Why I write ✍️...?

I write when my heart, Gets too heavy to hold, I write about my scars ,New and old.
I write when I have A lot to share, But to hear it out, No one has time to spare.
I write when I feel as lonely as one could be,When not tears, but the well dressed
Smile is what one could see. I write when thoughts in my mind begin to sink,
I write to share whatever I think.
I write , not with the desire of being known, But to know the voice within my soul.

Founders’ Day is a statutory Public Holiday to celebrate the collective efforts of the country’s forebears who led the fight for the attainment of independence from colonial rule. Happy #foundersday
Your legacies need to be fix...
It's rather so sad how some of our leaders don't feel the need to fix Gh
