Faces of Leadership 2026

First, I want to thank everyone who came out to the operation this past week. There are some things in life that we can easily take for granted, and I feel like I’ve been doing that lately. This past week really made me stop and realize just how lucky I am to be where I am, who I am with, and to have the people and association behind me that I do.

The things I got to learn, the conversations I had, and the people I got to meet mean more to me than just a handshake or a quick introduction. I got to hear different stories, learn from people who have been in this industry longer than I have, and see how many great people are working to make the Hereford breed and the junior program better.

I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity to share a little piece of our operation and our life with everyone. If anyone ever wants to come out to the ranch, our doors are always open and we would love to have any of you back again.

A huge thank you to my peers for opening my eyes and helping me realize just how very, very lucky I am to be where I am and surrounded by the people I have in my life. Sometimes it takes stepping outside of your normal routine to really appreciate what you have right in front of you.

Thank you to the NJHA and the Junior Board for making this trip one I won’t forget and for allowing me to be a part of it. My family and I had a blast hosting you guys for the evening, and we truly hope you all come back and see us again.

Thank you all for the memories, the friendships, and the lessons. I won’t forget this one.
