I'm happy to share my piece for the txt poetry collab hosted by @chaoscowboy44 !! Thank you so much for organising this 🫶
My piece is inspired by a poem by Beaudelaire, specifically the line "I am an old boudoir full of withered roses", representing all the memories we accumulate as we live our live and how we might connect them with specific objects of our lives. But enough yapping, please make sure to check out all the other beautiful art by the other artists!

Acre upon acre of tiny suns
turned skyward
I would braid you into
bracelet and coronet,
necklace and ring;
Sing of you as jewels

i got my poem from the book ‘the lost spells’ by Robert MacFarlane and Jackie Morris, its a wonderful book full of visual poems and when i read Daisy i could only picture our Soobinie so thats what i ended up choosing, i also incorporated the book itself in the artwork 🤗

Ello ello, i am so excited to finally share this. I was able to join a soo beautiful collab, organised by @chaoscowboy44 (thank you one million times), where incredibly talented moas sat together to draw, inspired by their favourite poems.

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought

A Reply to Someone in the Hills 🍃

My first ever art collab w/ so many talented artists!

This poem inspired me to choose Huening Kai as my model; he’s known for maintaining a calm demeanour in the most difficult situations, not to mention having a strong mentality which is why I think he would suit this poem the best 🌸 as for the drawing itself, my main inspiration were artworks from ancient China, most notably its faded/washed out and monotone colours!

“Oh bright star….”

Hello hello! I got lucky to participate in this poetry collab!!
I love how words influence our imagination and all the pieces turned out soo pretty (´-ω-`)💞

I based my piece on a sonnet by John Keats! He wrote on of my favorite ballads (La Belle Dame Sans Merci) and I really love the image he evokes in his poetry! I really like the thought of watching stars but coming to the conclusion that being a star must be a rather lone experience (｡•́︿•̀｡) but then I also thought about shooting stars and how they might come to visit us on earth

Anyway, I’m truly happy how this turned out and hope you’ll like it as well ♡

🌿 txt poetry collab 🌿

I finally hosted my first collab ever! it's been in the works for a while cause I'm unorganized as hell but I'm so so happy with the outcome. Everyone's works turned out literally amazing ✨ A big fat thank you and a hug to all the lovely and talented people who contributed 🫂💕 It was soo much fun to work together and to see everyone create their own visions of their poems 🌞 Please go check out their works as well and show them some love!

As for my piece, I drew Soobin inspired by one of my favourite poems by one of my favourite poets, Richard Siken. I could talk about it IN LENGTH, but I will spare you
