@_yuarei is the floral practice of Yulia Rei, working across editorial, events and weddings with a playful, intuitive approach to flowers.

Her arrangements often begin with what’s in season and close at hand — dancing roses, lilac tucked in for fragrance, homegrown begonia leaves, handpicked mulberries and the occasional vegetable, treated as sculptural form.

There’s a love of abundance in her work, whether that’s en masse stocks standing in for hydrangea, delicate summer ceremony pieces, or bridesmaid bouquets given just as much care as the bride’s. Orchids, peonies, dahlias and sweet peas appear often, layered with softness, movement and quiet surprises.

It’s been a full year of freelancing, personal projects and shared visions, shaped by trust, collaboration and a deep gratitude for the people behind the scenes. Less about saying too much, and more about letting the flowers speak.

I had the best time capturing Amanda & Ian’s day — one of those days that just felt easy from start to finish.

No big production, no running from place to place… just the two of them, doing it their way. A simple ceremony, a wander through the city, a few quiet moments in between, and then celebrating with their people.

This is exactly the kind of wedding I love being part of.

If you’re planning something small, relaxed, and actually want time to be in it (not just rush through a timeline), that’s very much my thing. Elopements and micro weddings where the focus is on you two and how the day feels, not how it looks on paper.

I only take on a handful of these each year — life is a bit full in this season with the kids and everything that comes with that — so availability is pretty limited.

If this is the kind of day you’re dreaming up, reach out sooner rather than later. I’d love to be part of it 🤍

The parts that I don’t usually share are often my favourite moments 🫶🏽
1. An arrangement that made me do a happy dance. It was the Rose on top that gave the finishing touch.
2. A last minute run to pick up some Lotus for a differentiating touch. I had an urge and knew I had to get a few more things!
3. Picked up 100 bunches of Hydrangea! I was over the moon.
4. A gorgy breezy moment captured by @mtl.socials
5. An abundance of my OG favourite Roses of all time.
6. Beautiful Hydrangea sitting pretty.
7. @wholelottalovecreative doing their thing x
8. Calla’s for the lovely Nhi.
9. The most perfect in-between moment by @mtl.socials
10. @_yuarei being an absolute Queen. Thank you a million.
11. My Croquembouche inspired piece. I want to go much bigger next time! (Who’s brief can I add this to? 🙃)
12. Just me 🌸
13. Again, my favourite Roses sitting pretty in Shae’s wonderful Studio. Beyondddd grateful for you @evolve.floral 🫶🏽

Some venues are so grand, so rich in history and detail, that the art of styling is knowing when to step back.

Boris & Mala’s wedding at the Royal Exhibition Building was a masterclass in restraint and sophistication. Every choice—from the subtle florals to the carefully curated tablescape — complemented the venue’s grandeur, letting its architectural beauty shine. The result was a celebration that felt effortless, elegant, and timeless.

Sophisticated, refined, and seamless — an experience only possible with a team who knows how to execute vision without compromise.
