I am grateful to express emotions and hidden messages through my art. While open to interpretation, this piece reflects the strength of being a woman, the resilience to thrive despite oppression, the importance of staying connected to our roots for spiritual and mental well-being, and the value of community involvement. Though many of us are trapped by illusions and circumstances, happiness remains a choice, and hope endures for a better tomorrow. This is an ode to the women who have and continue to inspire me here in Oklahoma specifically, and the network that runs deep in the country parts of the south that may be overlooked but are more than thriving. And honestly to myself, I keep going. No matter what. I love that about me.

P.S. Lady liberty is still a lady at the end of the day, she tired of standing for the foolery on this particular land that should’ve never been created in the manner that it was in the first place. Her and I are both over it.
