Spent the day surrounded by beautiful customs and the amazing talented brothers who built them, all in all another killer day. I don’t get out much and haven’t been to @sacramentoautorama in years but it makes it so worth the drive seeing everyone. My wife @kellypaka booked some dinner making all the white guys eat Korean food then high tailed it to my brother Scott’s shop @bluecollarcustoms to hang out with even more friends! What a night!!! Bummer o didn’t get a pic with @gambino_kustoms @bazuuka_tooth @kustoms_by_spence and everyone else I missed but I love the Bay Area/ NorCal custom car community .

One of the biggest highlights so far this year was having one of thee most influential custom painters @art_himsl @arthimsl in my career come up to my place to have a late birthday lunch. It’s so surreal to me that someone I’ve looked up to for so long, and has influenced me to become the artist I am today have so much respect for my art now, it’s a true full circle moment for me. Huge thanks to @robmihle for lunch and for making it all happen , definitely one for the memory books. You guys are the best!

unfortunately, there’s a reason why this day only got one post, and it’s not a good one. For 5 years I’ve been stuck with the error 99’ fault on this camera that forced it to shut off mid shot. I never really thought to send it off since it’d be more expensive than the camera is worth to get it fixed but after that Sunday, I’ve been at a crossroads.

After getting home from that shoot I found for a lot of my photos (something like 85%) to be totally unusable. I had been having camera issues capturing video the whole day, and at one point the camera stopped going into video mode. Idk a lot about cameras so I looked and everything is pointing towards a full on rebuild of the camera. Considering this camera is almost a decade old now, it’s looking to be time to upgrade.
