Spent the day getting Anthony settled into his townhouse. Although these goodbyes do not get any easier, I love seeing how excited his is to be back. Go do great things, @a.dicesaro !!! 🩷

Final doubleheader of the season!! Rounds 7&8 at Quaker City! I started the weekend by practicing on Friday night with @a.dicesaro - which we practiced following lines, leading and following. I learned a lot, thank you again! Then came Saturday morning which i got to run with my guy @zach_krueger488 - great job this weekend, you did amazing and learned a lot. Practice in the morning went well, a solid 22nd at the end of the session. Afterwards, came Qualifying and I set a very solid lap to start P23. The Pre Final was definitely one of the most fun moments of the weekend, battling for positions left and right with @gug_racing and @katelyn_h17_ - was loads of fun!! I finished the Pre final P22, a +1 position gained after a very late move. Then came the Final, we got off to a strong start but immediately into turn 2 we got hit by the kart beside me and went off into the grass. I ended up picking up my kart and got it back on the road, to get what was my personal best lap time. I just wanted to finish and we did exactly that. P28 in the end, could’ve been more. Now Sunday, which on the numbers was much better and my best day yet!! Practice was damp and wet and I took it with caution but also pushed, ending out P10, the promoted to P9 after a penalty. My first top-10 in any 206 session! That was the goal this season and we did it :) afterwards, came qualifying which without a draft we lined up P13, my best starting spot to date. The Pre Final was lots of fun and chaotic, I kept it easy working with others, and settled into a rhythm. After battling hard and getting heavy pushes we got P15, and was oh so close to P14. I made a great last lap move and it ended up being a switchback for the other guy. The final didn’t happen due to rain which was disappointing, but its all good in the end. I am very pleased and proud of my results, especially on Sunday- to keep learning more in my rookie season. Next is Round 9, which will be my last for 2026 as I will be doing a super late model test the same day as Round 10. I’ll be looking to end the season very strong and giving it my all next time out. Also, we moved up +2 in points. P14! Hoping I can stay there. Thank you all!! 🫡
