🌱 ARC REVIEW 🌱 Swipe for my thoughts Her Ravening Heart by @a.j.vrana Every five years, the god of life demands his tithe. A bride. A beloved for the eternal spring. An end to winter’s grasp on Belagora. Senka was raised watching the solemn parade to the altar, the maiden in red laying herself down in supplication. In submission. But when blue hyacinth blooms in the snow outside Senka’s home, she knows she’s next. Defying the god’s call means dooming Belagora to eternal winter, and in a village built on faith, the roots of fear run deep. Don’t ask questions. Obey. Revere. All prices Senka is unwilling to pay. But as the god’s hold on Senka tightens, the line between desire and dread cuts paper thin. A wicked hunger blooms inside her, threatening everything she’s ever believed about herself. But Senka made a promise. She will not submit—not even to a ravening god. #monsterromance #monsterhorrorromance #arcreview #booksofinstagram #bookstagram

Her Ravening Heart By A.J. Vrana ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Add it to your TBR or better yet preorder this amazing novella! Out 11-17-26! I was not sure what I was getting myself into with this book. I went into it blind having never read anything from this author before. But I think I’ve found a new favorite author and trope! Who doesn’t love a good monster horror romance! This book has a beautifully broken monster god a defiant village girl and ruinous spice (who knew plant spice was a thing or that it was so hot!)! It is such a good novella. It moves quickly and draws you in from the beginning. I was so captivated by the story and so happy with the ending because who doesn’t love a good dose of feminine rage! I hope this is a duet narration for the audiobook because a monster god needs a smooth deep voice…mmmm! Thank you so much to @thenerdfam and @a.j.vrana for the opportunity to review this eARC! I absolutely loved it! #bookstagram #arcreader #bookreview #herraveningheart

🪻Her Ravening Heart - A.J. Vrana 🪻 Thank you for my ARC of this book! Every 5 years in a tiny village in the mountains called Belagora, a woman is sacrificed (called a Betrothal) to the god of life - Vuyadin - to enjoy an eternal spring with him. Senka is a curious, strong willed, daring, smart girl and has grown up guarded from everyone, and is now willing to be sacrificed after questioning everything - the villagers just blindly trusting and believing in this God. Taken by Vuyadin, as an unwilling sacrifice, she discovers darker parts inside of herself, and this is where she truly blooms. Short but strong, powerful story of female rage. She is treated so unfairly by the villagers and it made me furious. But I was rooting for her the whole book. I loved this story - I just wish it was longer and you got more interactions between her and Vuyadin! HEA 🫶🏼🖤 #books #bookreview #newbook #new #bookstagram

Her Ravening Heart by @a.j.vrana 🌺🖤 Releas Date: 17 November '26. I love a good villain origin story! Especially when the villain is a woman and I ate this one up in one sitting, licking the plate afterwards leaving no crumbs! This novella was a gripping ode to angry women everywhere! To everyone who is sick and tired of the narrative being pushed on women. I absolutely loved how fierce Senka was and how she refused to just submit. She questioned things when they felt wrong and tried to protect her village but got punished for it. The revenge arc was very satisfying with immaculate horror and folklore elements. Not to mention the plant destructive spice that was just glorious! This novella is perfect for anyone who is looking for a quick short read and loves: 🌺Monster smut 🖤Botanical horror 🌺Feminine rage 🖤Satisfying revenge 🌺Monster Smut With Horny Plants 🖤Deadly s3x magic 🌺Who-done-it 🖤Ravening gods ⁉️Would you try to save people who did you wrong? #horrorromance #monsterromance #darkromantasy #arcreview #bookrec

Gifted arc QOTD: Would you be tempted by a little monster horror romance novella? What about one that follows a FMC determined to make her village and their god rue the day they ever messed with her? I read Her Ravening Heart a few months back and still think back to why I loved this novella so much and really it comes down to four things: 1. It’s a Monster Horror Romance which is refreshing, spooky, and exciting to dive into! 2. It offers feminine rage that is so satisfying because I distinctly remember the moment I knew Senka would make the world pay and BOY does she deliver. 3. There is a true mystery to unravel in that you really get to explore with Senka as she attempted to understand WHY her community gives away its women and what happens to them...whether you want to or not. 4. There are spicy plant shenangans...I mean it wouldn’t be a monster romance without some fun and this shakes this up A LOT! Suffice to say - go preorder Her Ravening Heart by @a.j.vrana ! It releases November 17th!! Art by @teaspoon.art Happy reading! #bookrecommendations #herraveningheart #ajvrana #jillsbooknook #monsterromance
