The guy who created the D.A.R.E. program does what now?

We asked the @tnt.tuesdaynighttrack runners: What does @coachpatconnelly mean to the run community?

Leading the weekly club for over 45 years, Connelly has left a lasting impression on anyone he's coached, taught or met.

Thank you, Coach Pat!

This week we took on three speedy sets of 200 meter repeats. We also congratulated @annarunner88 on qualifying for the Boston marathon this past weekend. We’re so proud of you! Hope to see everyone back on the track next week!

It was great to have @coachpatconnelly back with us last night! So glad you are feeling better - we missed you! Since the track is being resurfaced, we ran our 300-meter repeats on the field. Nice work, everyone! Thanks to all who shared photos and tagged us in their stories! We appreciate it!

MEET TNT HONOREE ANDY
Andy works as a physical education aid at a high school. When he is not running, he eats, sleeps, and dreams of all the races he will run in his lifetime. This summer he completed the Rock and Roll San Diego Marathon, finishing in a personal best time.

Andy also maintains fitness through powerlifting, biking, and cross-country at school. His favorite TNT workout is 200 meter repeats. He also appreciates the instruction in the art of running that he receives at TNT. The closeness of all the athletes brings him joy and a feeling of wellness.

Andy considers both London and Los Angeles to be his hometown. Perhaps his next marathon will be in London!
