POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Great news! 🤍🌿

We’ve been working behind the scenes, and I’m excited to share that we’ve made an important update to the Olive Crowned Future Scholarship Initiative.

We’ve decided to open applications to individuals across all age groups and levels of education, with specific eligibility criteria established for each level. This decision came directly from the heart of why Olive Crowned was created in the first place.

My Why 🤍🌿

My parents have shared with me the realities of the struggles they experienced growing up, and people in my community, including my patients of Haitian descent, have shared similar experiences with me.

Stories involving going two to three years without attending school because their families couldn’t afford it. Others have shared stories of having only one school uniform and knowing they couldn’t afford for it to get dirty because it was all they had.
These stories have stayed with me and reminded me that access to education is not something everyone can take for granted.
A program helped me get through school, but more than that, it ignited a fire in me. It showed me the impact of investing in someone’s future and made me ask myself, Why not create my own?
I’ve prayed, “God, how can I be of help to my community? How can I bring light to someone else’s future?” And I believe Olive Crowned Future Scholarship Initiative is part of that answer. 🤍
Sometimes, what stands between someone and an education is simply tuition, transportation, school supplies, or someone believing in them.
That’s why I’ve expanded eligibility to all levels of education, with specific criteria for each. Educational needs look different for everyone, and support can make a difference at any stage of the journey.
I’m incredibly humbled and excited to serve my community through this initiative. My hope is that Olive Crowned not only supports educational journeys but inspires people to believe in what’s possible for their future.

This is bigger than me.
Bigger than a title.
Bigger than a crown.

This is about opening doors and creating futures 🤍🤍
