Thank you for the music, the dreams and the hopes. That's the first thing I want to say, in case you stop reading this, because it's the most important thing you need to know. A few weeks ago, I was rereading and listening to your interviews, about the value of the album, what some of the songs mean and what the whole process meant and I can't help but be proud of every step. Voices is my favorite song, maybe because of how I identify with each word of the song (I even made a little comic of my story told by the lyrics), but I think nothing compares to whatever Alive does in my heart, or to the pain of Free to be okay or to the hope I feel by listening to Someday we will sing again… There isn't a single song that doesn't make me feel better. You really created a world of comfort I will never stop thanking you for coming together to make music. You save people, every day. So again I want to thank you for being a refuge, a place where we can feel safe. Happy first anniversary and maybe it's selfish to ask for more, but we can't wait to have more from you and find out what's next. Lots of love to my favorite band in the whole world @electriccentury and the most inspiring human beings in the world @dvdebiak and @mikeyway ! And all my amazing and talented friends who helped us in the special gift you can check on my stories!!! πŸ‘€ Don't forget to #listentoelectriccentury !!!" . . . . . . . #electriccenturyband #electriccentury #electriccenturyfanart #electriccentury #ec #fanart #mikeyway #mikeywayisloved #daviddebiak #traditionalart #color #colordrawing #colorpencil #multipletechniques #painting #albumanniversary

Repost from @a.redhead.friend β€’ "I can hear the voices whisper "We plan to break out with you"... β€”Voices - Electric Century . I hear voices, telling me I'm something I'm not. Sometimes that voices are just ghosts in my head and on the walls, but sometimes they have a body, a familiar face... I'm not sure who are the worst. . . . This was for the Ghostober challenge list. The initial idea was completely different, more calm and more aesthetic, but it ended as a copping art. I was supposed to post yesterday, but you know..." #electriccenturyband #electriccentury #ec #electriccenturyfanart #mikeyway #daviddebiak #mikeywayisloved #listentoelectriccentury #coppingmechanism #traditionalart #colordrawing #color #artformentalhealth #transartist #transart #transrights

This is the last representation of every song of this wonderful album. And to close, one of my big three. Alive is a song about hope and acceptance. Or at least that is what it makes me feel. Creating this illustration of myself made me really happy. EC is a beacon that helps me accept myself, my past and my scars (which is why I will not censor them this time.) Also I'm not saying I'm thinking of making that design on a shirt, but ... . . This drawing was intended to be posted yesterday because it was International LGBTTTIQA+ Pride Day but the background took longer than planned. So, today it's my birthday and I want to do this about my favorite song of "For the Night to Control”. @electriccentury has helped me more times than I can even remember and I certainly wouldn't be here if their music didn't give me hope and strength. The lyrics of this song in special hit me so hard when I'm thinking about growing up and keep going. So a bday cupcake and my old teddy bear was the best way to represent this song. Today I wanna you to meet my little blue friend. His name is Teddy. He's being my friend since I'm two. He has been my partner for twenty-three years and we have been through a lot together. He has some scars from being tortured by a monster. (But it's okay. I have scars too.) So now he's afraid of fire and that is why there is not a candle in our cake." #listentoelectriccentury #electriccenturyband #electriccentury #electriccenturyfanart #daviddebiak #mikeyway #ec

Adeline is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I love Adeline in the graphic novel. I'm not gonna give you spoilers, but she's so important for the history, she's not only "the girl". And yeah the flamingo was the best way I can represent this song and her. I only have one song left to draw. So stay tuned and #listentoelectriccentury"
