POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Tomorrow is a big day, and if I’m being completely honest, it’s a little scary.

I’m heading to Stanford for a full day of tests, followed by an overnight neurological test. On top of that, it’s my 5th year of cancer screenings. Living as a previvor with a PTEN gene mutation and facing so many medical issues at 15 isn’t easy. Days like tomorrow always bring up those heavy feelings.

But I’ve learned something really important about fear: you don't always feel brave before the hard stuff. You earn your bravery after you get through it.

Even when fear creeps in, I know I never have to face it alone. I have the best, most amazing support team holding me up when I'm scared and lifting me through every challenge. With them in my corner, I can do anything.

I might feel scared right now, but I know I am strong. My focus is on staying healthy, pushing forward, and showing anyone else walking a tough path that being medically complex doesn't define what you can achieve. You can still chase your biggest dreams, reach your goals, and live a life you love.

Wish me luck for tomorrow & Thursday! 💪✨

The first thing I notice isn’t the height.

It’s the tilt.

The road starts to angle upward, just a little at first, like the mountain is testing me — Are you paying attention? — and my stomach does that tiny roller‑coaster flutter. The trees are still tall here, smelling like warm pine needles and sunshine, and the air feels normal enough that I can breathe without thinking about it.

But then the switchbacks begin.

The car leans into each curve, and I feel the weight shift under me — a slow, steady push to the left, then the right, like the mountain is gently rocking me. My fingers tap against my leg in a rhythm I don’t remember choosing. It matches the engine’s hum. It matches my heartbeat.

The higher we climb, the more the world opens.

At first it’s just glimpses — a flash of blue lake, a slice of valley, a sudden drop that makes my chest tighten and my breath catch. Not scared.Just… alert. Like my senses are turning their volume knobs all the way up.

The air changes next.

It gets colder, thinner. I can feel it in my nose, in the way my lungs stretch a little harder. My ears pop. My skin prickles. The wind sneaks through the cracks of the car and brushes my cheeks like icy fingertips.

And then — the trees disappear.

Just gone.

One turn they’re there, the next it’s nothing but rock and sky and a road that looks like it’s climbing straight into the clouds. My stomach flips again, but this time it’s excitement. The kind that feels like standing on the edge of something huge and knowing you’re supposed to be there.

The drop-offs get steeper.

The guardrails get fewer.

The curves get tighter.

But I’m not afraid.

I’m awake.

Every sense is buzzing — the smell of cold sto for us. Every time we round a hairpin lean into it, feeling the gravity pull me sideways,

I'm still buzzing from Pikes Peak. It didn't feel real...it was like stepping into a movie. The cold mountain air, the engines echoing off the mountain. The way everything simmered with excitement. I'm going to remember it forever.

When @coachairjordan handed me the green flag my heart was pounding so hard, I could feel it in my fingertips. And then I got to wave Mr. @vahsholtzracing off the line. Me. Starting Mr. Codie. On Pikes Peak. I'll never forget it!

Thank you Coach for making today unforgettable. Thank you Mr. Codie & the whole Vahsholtz racing family for inviting my family & letting me be apart of something so special. You made me feel welcome, important, and like I belong on that mountain.

Today was a forever memory. 💕

*I'm so excited for the next few days. 🤗

I had so much fun hunting down shades at @velocityinvitational - You all make every visit unforgettable! Huge thanks to @heatwavevisual @heatwave_racing for always welcoming me with smiles and time, even when things are busy at the track. More brands should take notes from Heatwave, kindness looks good on everyone. 🙂 ❤️ 🐞
*I hope you like my cartoon edits. 😀

Mr. Max, Thank you so much for the new Race Service Miami sweatshirt. I love it. It feels like sunshine and racetracks. The weight of it is perfect, like I'm wearing a weighted blanket & the patches are a soft fidget to play with. Plus it fits so good. It's everything I love in a sweatshirt and it looks cool too!
I'm really grateful for you, not just for the sweatshirt, but for everything you do to inspire the next generation of kids like me. Thank you for meeting with me last week, for answering my questions, for cheering me on, and for helping me in every way you can. You're an awesome friend, and I am very lucky to have you in my corner.
I'm so proud to be part of the Race Service family. It means a lot to know that you all believe in me, & support everything I'm building with Team Inclusion Revolution.
I want to make motorsports a place where every kid feels brave, welcome, & excited to be here; and having Race Service behind me is already making that dream a reality.

Thank you for always seeing me, supporting me, and helping me grow. I won't ever forget it.

Bug, today isn't just your 8th grade promotion. Today is the celebration of every single mountain you climbed to get here. I've watched you work harder than anyone ever sees. The daily therapy sessions, the learning, the unlearning, the rebuilding, the courage it takes to just exist in a world that wasn't designed with your beautiful brain in mind. And still you rise.

You didn't just survive these years. You created through them.
You became an Author.
You've built tools to help kids like you.
You're designing clothing that will make life easier for people with special needs.
You are working with multiple companies to make events more welcoming and inclusive for everyone.
You turned your challenges into blueprints for others.
You are kind.
You are genuine.
You are caring.
You are understanding.
You are creative.
You are loving.
You are everything good.
And You inspire me every single day.

There is no word big enough for how proud I am of you. Proud doesn't even come close. It barley scratches the surface of what it feels like to be your mom.

Bug, you are my heart.
You are my teacher.
You are my reminder that strength can be quiet, gentle, and world changing.

Congratulations on your promotion, my girl. High school has no idea what's coming.

My whole life feels like a string of impossible adventures. Mountains to Monorail, Princesses to Paddocks, and so many places in between. The long drives, new places, new people, new worlds opening up infront of me; none of it would exist without my Mom.
My Mom's the one who sees the whole map, when I can barley see my next step. She's the one who clears the path, softens the noise, she translates the world and makes space for me to be exactly who I am. Every place I've traveled, every person I've met, every stranger who became family; it's all because of her confidence in me. She advocates for me in a thousand ways no one ever sees. The emails, the conversations, the planning, the protecting, the teaching, the gentle pushing, and the fierce defending. I have a whole team to help me learn how to communicate, how to regulate, how to move through this chaotic world. She fought for all of it. She made sure I've had access to every resource, every specialist, every support I've needed to be successful and confident. She's the one who makes sure I'm heard, and understood when my words get stuck. She's the reason I get to belong in places that weren't built for people like me. And on days when the world is too loud or too fast, she slows everything down & reminds me that I'm safe, I'm capable, & I'm allowed to take up space. She's the reason I can walk into places that used to swallow me whole and feel at home instead. She is the reason I can try things that scare me, because I know if I need to stop, it's ok. I'm always allowed to pause, reset, or even change my mind completely. Our adventures aren't just trips or events; They're proof of how hard she fights for my joy, proof of how deeply she believes in me. It's evidence that love can build an entire universe where I get to grow, explore, and shine.
Mom, you are the engine behind every dream I chase. You're the reason I'm brave. You're the reason I'm living a life filled with magic, and meaning. Happy Mother's Day to the woman who makes my everyday possible. I love you more than the adventures we've had, and all the ones we haven't reached yet.

I didn't just grow up at the racetrack, I grew up because of it. Some families bond over quiet weekends at home, mine bonds over pictures and pace cars.
My Dad is the one who taught me how to see the track; not just the cars, but the stories. His photos are the reason I fell in love with motorsports in the first place. Every picture he takes feels like a little piece of history; the early mornings, the late nights, the friendships, the moments that become chapters in my books.
Dad's camera is like a magic key. Everywhere he goes, I get to go too. He's worked for teams, stood in pit lanes, captured moments that are gone in a blink, and he always makes sure I'm right there with him. My Dad has always shown me that I can do anything. He has given his time and used his talent to help women in racing shine, & to take me to races to meet my heros. They're not just faces in the paddock anymore. They're friends. They're family. They're people who I look up to. People who inspire me, mentor me, and support me in so many ways. I am so grateful.
Drivers wave at me. Crew members know my name. Teams treat me like family. My Dad helped build those bridges for me, one photo, one weekend, one introduction at a time. He didn't just take me to the track, he gave me a place in it.

Leaving the track has always been the hardest part for me. Even now, after a fast-paced, fully charged weekend filled with family and new friends, I feel completely drained on the ride home. I'm usually asleep before we even hit the highway.
The hardest part is the moment before we leave. I don't want to walk away from the paddock. I don't want to say "See you next time," because I never really know when next time will be. I miss everyone the second we pull away. Seeing people online helps, but it's not the same as being there, all of us in the same place, breathing the same race-day air.
I like to stay at the track until the last car is loaded onto it's hauler and my parents finally make me leave. It's been like that since I was tiny.
5 year old me stood at Laguna Seca after the final race of the season, watching the paddock empty out. My little heart felt cracked open because "next season" sounded like forever. I didn't have the words for it then, but I knew I was leaving a place where I felt whole.

I've known Mr. Kyle @kvanhoften almost my whole life. He took my picture here at Laguna Seca when I was just 4. He wrote a story about me for a BMW magazine, which felt HUGE to little me who loved this track more than anything. We've crossed paths at events ever since, and every single time I spot him I get this happy little shock. For me, some people become a part of the track just as much as the corners and the hills.
