Molly O shares a look inside the workroom where the solid surface countertops for the Hatteras boat are coming to life. She is especially impressed with the craftsmanship from Top En-Counter in Huntington Beach. Kevin and his team are doing exceptional work.
Here’s a glimpse at the fabrication process and the materials selected for the galley and the head. The precision and finish are already standing out.

Hey there, I’m Jessica. I’ve been a high school art teacher for 19 years, and every year I ask my students three questions during attendance to learn names faster and get to know them better. So I thought I’d try the same thing but I’ll answer because I know you’re just dying to know 😅

1. What’s your favorite color - (and be descriptive!)?
Green. That moody olive‑green you find on vintage glass or the vibrant inside of an avocado green … though rusty red-orange seems to have me in a headlock right now.

2. Favorite band or musical artist?
My go-tos are Modest Mouse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Killers — take me back to the indie scene of the aughts!

3. Most fun thing I did over summer break?
Vacationed with family in AZ and helped some very cool clients redesign their homes! (Manifesting that second one 😏)

Thanks for following! …Oh! And swipe to see the aforementioned built in desk and storage for our sweet client. Chock full of all his own trinkets and traysures that he wanted to display.

It’s not often we’re able to post a sweet shot of our surfaces AND a new phenomenal photobomb… So shoutout to @a.top.encounter for sharing their client’s recent @duraseinsolidsurface install images, otherwise we may have never seen this stellar handiwork!

Of course, our Luna decor has never looked more lovely— but it’s certainly not the only star in this space. Swipe right to see a local resident who stole the show 😹
