I was asked recently how do I stay motivated?

My response was motivation left a long time ago. It’s pure obsession at this point. And I can’t stop until I
achieve my dreams.

My beautiful obsession.

Two investments that always pay off
1. Time with God.
2. Time in the gym.

Every morning on prep I listen to this prayer as I get on the treadmill to start my fasted cardio. Those of you that know my story know my faith has always been important to me and got me through some of the hardest times. It’s not always been easy. I’ve certainly not always been the best Catholic. The last time I went to church was over 8 years ago on Faith’s first anniversary. I sat with the priest and we prayed for her. Afterwards I never felt a reason to go back.

Coming into this prep however I wasn’t making the best decisions in life. I didn’t like the person I was becoming and it wasn’t just me it was affecting. I felt lost but was overcome with the urge that I needed to be closer to God again and made a decision it was time to go back to church.

The moment I walked in I felt a peace and calmness that I hadn’t felt in a long time. Everything in my life suddenly became better. It allowed me to focus on the things that truly mattered to me. Family, relationships, bodybuilding.

I embraced prep with the most positive mindset I’ve ever had. In previous times I would moan about the hunger or being tired. I realised nothing is promised and only a limited number of years left I can still do this. I felt blessed to be able to spend my days doing the thing I love the most and chase my dreams.

I was able to finally drop the huge walls I had been keeping up all these years since losing Faith and let the most patient and amazing woman I’ve ever met in. I sat in church last week listening to the priest’s sermon. He spoke about the lapsed Catholic, who say they love God but never go to church. He questioned what makes them stop coming and what makes them return to the church. He asked us all if we were happy to be here and in that moment I felt I was in the exact place that the universe wanted me to be. However I got there, whatever route I took that was where I was supposed to be in that moment listening to his sermon.

Sometimes you have to lose yourself to find your way back.
Two investments that will always pay off. Both have the power to change your life. #faith #God #love #gym

Stop waiting for January 1st to become the person you keep saying you want to be. You don’t need a new year, you need a new mindset. 🧠

No more excuses. No more “I’ll start Monday.” No more waiting for the perfect time. Start now, even if it’s messy, even if it’s hard, even if you’re starting from zero.

Your only competition is who you were yesterday. The results come from the days you don’t feel like showing up but do it anyway.

You’ve still got time to change your life before the year ends. Lock in NOWWW. 🔒💪🏽

This next season isn’t about doing more. It’s about becoming who God has called me to be.

It’s been a beautiful season. So many blessings. So much to be grateful for.

As winter approaches, it’s time to lock in.

Lock in with God. Lock in at the gym. Lock in on building something that helps men who have struggled like I have to rebuild their lives and find purpose.

Keep pushing. Keep growing. But most importantly, keep trusting and believing.

God makes a way, but I still have to put in the work.

I trust that with Him, I can become everything He has called me to be.

All glory to God. ✝️
