Happy 25th Birthday to me! 🙏🏾🥳🦂 Wow, I remember when I released my first ever rap album “Twenty” on my 20th birthday like it was yesterday! So much fear, worry, would I be good enough, will my message be well received? Will I have any friends? Where will this path lead me? I would’ve never thought I would be a successful show director 5 years later of @soundstagenyc , a new live music video platform for artists & creatives alike to come together, showcase their music video, be seen & heard, & interact beyond a scroll! I’m absolutely honored that God/Spirit gave me this path. I take all the pressure, the planning, the long nights, and the stress because I know what this community can become when somebody actually cares enough to organize it with intention. SoundStage! moves through me🫀 My vision, my creativity, my stamina, my intuition. But it’s not about me. I’m simply the one chosen to carry it, shape it, and push it into the world! My power is in my ability to bring people together, to create opportunities out of nothing, to make a whole ecosystem where artists, dancers, videographers, photographers, and fans can connect and grow. SoundStage! isn’t just a show, it’s a cultural engine! 👏🏾A renaissance. And I’m the vessel making sure it keeps expanding. the last 4 years of my life have been nothing short of life changing, I couldn’t have asked to walk into a better place my first day freshman year of college. To 66 broad there are more memories in that house than I could ever imagine, no matter who lived there at the time one thing was always certain, never a dull moment. To the guys that I once thought of as the older guys, thank you for bringing me into such a welcoming family, thank you for all the guidance and wisdom you’ve provided me. I’ll admit it’s weird being in your shoes now, but you’ve all shown me there’s still great things to be done even as alumni. To the guys that have been with me from the start, my pbros, old friends, you all have continued to push me to be a better version of myself, and if it weren’t for your support we would not have made it here. To the guys i only met over the past year, i would’ve never expected people who only just came into my life to have such an impact on me, like i said it’s weird to be in the shoes of the older guy now but you all made me feel like even when I didn’t know what I was doing, it didn’t matter because I had all of your support, and that’s all I needed. To those of you that might not be brothers with me, you still brought me to where I need to be, I am forever thankful I got to meet so many amazing people who supported me and made me feel like there was nothing I couldn’t do. You all are my best friends and I couldn’t ask to have had better people in my life throughout college. 10 pictures doesn’t do anywhere close to enough to show how grateful I am for the last 4 years, but the last thing I want to say is keep in touch… there are too many of you amazing people out there for me to lose touch with and I refuse to let that happen. Thank you all for everything I truly wouldn’t have made it here without all of the people in my life, even the ones I only had a short time with, I love you all and I can’t wait to see the amazing things you’re all gonna do.
