Getting to mount isn’t about being explosive—it’s about controlling the arms first.

In this tutorial, I break down how I use the cross face to isolate both arms before transitioning from side control to mount. By controlling the far arm, walking the hips back, and pinning the second arm, you can make your mount transition much harder to stop and immediately start putting your opponent on the defensive.

Thick and shit. 😏

Training been going good. Real good. I’m enjoying my daily routine which gets me in the gym later than I’m used to, but allows me to focus 100% on what I’m doing when I’m in there. Basically empty gym for me to play around in. No one to bother me. Just me, myself, my thoughts and the weights. Most days I don’t even listen to music, I just have my headphones on. Enjoying where I’m at in my journey right now. ✨ that’s a win.
